Okay so I will be 16 this saturday, right? Have I had a boyfriend? no.....no one has ever been attracted to me, ever, at any time in my life. I wouldn't say I am feeling sorry for myself, I'm not, just sometimes I wonder if any guy will ever want to marry me and start a family. I feel so ugly compared to all the other girls....so....different. And my morals are different from the girls who go from boyfriend to boyfriend, since I have been here I have seen several several go through 3 boyfriends in what? 2 years? I guess its the fact no one finds me to be beautiful, attractive, girlfriend material, but you know what? High school dating hardly ever ends up in marriage and I had rather wait until college and find someone who wants me for my personality, not just for my body, which is probably why people don't find me attractive......anyways......just wanted to get this off my chest. Hopefully I will turn from an ugly duckling to a swan in a few years so I won't be so much uglier than most girls....

First of all, you are not ugly. Just because some girls spend two hours every morning on their hair doesn't make them prettier than you. Second, I can speak to you with experience; I was in the same situation you are when I was your age (only four years ago). I didn't consider myself pretty, I was a bit overweight, and I had such an odd personality I didn't think I would find ANYONE. I didn't end up getting my first date until I was 17, almost 18. Since then I have had four boyfriends, three serious. All of them liked me for my odd personality, and they were attracted to me. I started working out, and now I'm skinny, and I pay a little more attention to my appearance so now I do consider myself pretty.

In any case, things can always change pretty quickly. Don't give up hope, perhaps God is waiting to bring a guy to you until you are ready :)

Little Sister: You will not attract every man to you; only animals do that. But in God's timing, just the right young man, is going to be so enthralled with you and just you, that he'll be head over heels for you!

The Lord be with you. +

hey sis, i know exactly what you're going through. I'm 18 and I still haven't had a boyfriend. It's rough, but God does have a guy out there for me. I just need to trust in Him. He will send a guy for me in His own time. :) Hang in there. :) and if you ever need to talk then just e-mail me... princessinpink_18_05@yahoo.com

Psalm 139:14~I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your work, and that my soul knows very well.

When ever you look in the mirror say this to yourself, for YOU are fearfully and wonderfully made. There is not one thing about you that the Lord did not design <ahttp://www.worthychristianforums.com/uploads/emoticons/default_smile.png' alt=':)'> It is what is in the heart that makes one beautiful on the inside and outside.

I have seen beautiful people and when I got to know their heart they were not so beautiful anymore.

CUTIEPIE, please read...

I guess the thing I feel most compelled to tell you is this: God always has a plan and there is a very specific reason why your situation is what it is. I can tell you that I was considered very attractive in high school and I always had a serious boyfriend.. but I felt empty. I missed out on having female friends, I decieved my parents at times, and I ultimately compromised my morals and lost my virginity before I was married. I honestly believed that I we were totally in love, but the relationship eventually ended and my past experiences lead to more of the same with other men. Things became so bad and my reputation was so shattered at my college that I had to leave. I returned to my hometown broken, unsure of how I'd ended up in such a hole... but then I met my wonderful fiance, Jason. He is a (hot!) Christian man--who, by the way, has saved his virginity for 27 years, knowing the right woman to be his wife would come--and he lead me to Christ. I couldn't be happier, but my greatest regret is that when he gives himself to me for the first time, I won't be able to give the same back--but God used my seemingly unfortunate circumstances for the greatest good.

There will come a day when you will know exactly why things are the way they are now... and you'll be so happy God knew what He was doing!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
