Hi everyone,

Ever had a religious dream and what do you make of it?

I had a religious dream a couple years back.

Naturally it was strange :whistling: , very short but incredible. It was very hazey and couldn't really see everything clearly, I dreamt that I was on the slope of a hill, there were quite a lot of people around but I couldn't see who they were, I felt like a child too. We had gathered around a certain person who was standing on a mound of sand or grass, it was Jesus Christ. I couln't see his face and had no idea of his features but I knew it was Him, it was just a feeling I had. All he kept saying was "Don't worry anymore, I am coming. Don't worry, I am coming soon. I am coming tomorrow." After hearing that a couple times something clicked, it felt as though I didn't need to worry about a thing, I mean NOTHING, have you ever had that feeling? Why worry anymore, soon there will be no reason for it - there's nothing in it, He'll be here soon so worrying is pointless. Then as the dream faded I fell into the most peaceful sleep I probably ever had, I just felt everything come off my shoulders, total relief, total relaxation, nothing bothered me. When I woke up, I just thought WOW, that was awesome! What an incredible dream and sleep. I think of this dream quite often and it makes me think about heaven, if this is what believing in Jesus means then why do we worry so much even about the smallest things, just remember - there is a peace coming for you, a peace that none of us have ever really experienced. One day that peace will be with you and will never let you get harmed. He is coming!

Anyone else have dreams like this?

I have taught in Religious Studies Departments at both secular and Christian colleges, and I have found in secular schools about 1 in 4 students will say they have had a spiritual dream, and in Christian schools it's about 1 in 3 students......

i've had what the pastor says were vision(something to give me comfort) the first one was 24 yrs ago. i was going through a tough time with my first husband ,me trying to live for Christ and his drug use. i went to bed and i was like at the top of the room in a coner watching everthing that was happening,i could see my self and my husband laying on the bed asleep.i saw an angel come gliding down and took my hand and i watched as i got out of bed and followed her,she set me before a big chair made of stone,i was bowing down and as i opened my eyes i could see 2 feet with nail prints in them as i slowly lifted my head i saw his hands on the arms of the chair they also had nail prints in them as i raised my head more i to the middle part of his chest and woke up.i told my pastor and he said it was a vision,i asked why did i wake up before i saw his face,he said he didn't know but probaly it was just enough to give me hope.

the second one was about 4 months ago. i was fighting like dragons type creatures and i keep feeling some one was beside me and i looked and it was a misty form that i knew was Jesus and he was fighting along with me. the pastor said it was Jesus letting me know that through all i go through with my family,he is there and he is fighting the battle with me...oh such joy, to know he cares enough to fight with me.

Those were very encouraging! Thank you for sharing them. Yes, Jesus is there with us always. I once was struggling with demons and the Lord gave me a vision of him with outstretched arms on my bedroom wall and I just kept my eyes on Jesus and I fell right asleep with no more demons. Jesus is there to fight for us and to see us through the difficulties of our lives if we just keep our eyes fixed on him. God bless you!

Serenity Grace,

No need to to cry anymore, when you think of Jesus on the cross try to show gratitude and thankfulness, I mean I'm sure you do but when that image comes to mind try to think of why He did it. The way He suffered is disheartening but He accepted it with love for the people who would also accept it - His sacrifice. When you see His face in that state remind yourself that this is the past and with His death and ressurection He has conquered sin, death and satan. Jesus has risen! He is no longer nailed down and nothing can stop Him now. When He returns to take His rightful kingdom, He will be the pure image of power - not being put up for trial, nor whipped, nor beaten, nor abused, He'll come with a power so great that even his words, which will be like a double edged sword, will cause destruction of the wicked and those who nailed him down.

Jesus is no longer the image you see on the cross - don't cry, instead have joy! Because He is coming back with all your hopes and...well yes...dreams. :verkle:

I saw Jesus walking, and I saw myself following Jesus, and a person who I desperatly wanted saved was following me. I took this as a encouragement to keep on following Jesus. I don't remember when I had the dream (I should have written it down) but later on they gave their life to Christ! :emot-bounce:

Through the years I have had many spiritual dreams. But most were for personal guidance and help. However several months ago I dreamed that I was in a room in a glass tower. This tower was huge, built to the sky. And the glass was so strong that nothing could break it. You could see out with perfect safety for not ANYTHING could break that glass. THere were innumerable people living in the tower. Each had his own room but could mingle at will. Then I looked out and thousands upon thousands in the land were leaving their churches and making lines to enter the tower. They were entering one at a time as quickly as possible. It was amazing to see the myriads of people hurrying to enter the tower. But they could come in only by the front door one at a time. There was a sense of urgency and desire and need for safety.

I took the tower to mean Jesus Christ of course. He is the tower of refuge that keeps us safe from all harm. And the people were leaving religion and entering into Him. Revival was in the land. But the time was short. There was a sense of "this must be done now".

Other people, including myself, have had dreams and visions of such an event to take place relatively in the near future. One young man dreamed he was preaching to thousands of people. I have had those dreams, too. I believe a very great revival is just around the corner for America, but God is going to have to shake things up first. And, yes, there is an urgency along with it, for I believe we are talking last days stuff here. Some may contend with me on that, but that's ok. Yes, we live in a world where religion is popular but the cross is not. I believe this shaking will help people get things in perspective and they will see that all the glitter that many churches offer is just glitter but it is the cross of Jesus Christ where we find refuge from the storm.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
