Taking this back to the race issue *cough*, because races are a part of creation and not the absense of it, it is not evil to acknowledge race and even celebrate it.

Please think about my post. If God only made one person (well, two out of only one), than this means that there really is only one race.

Actually, He's created everyone mate. Read the Bible, many, many, many times He is spoken of forming us in the womb and having power over the womb, in other words, He creates us. He has created all the different races, and to mimimize this is to ignore His creativity.

do bi-racial people make you uncomfortable? do interracial couples make you uncomfortable? do you think it is irresponsible to have bi-racial kids?

i'm not uncomfortable with bi-racial people at all, nor am i uncomfortable with interracial couples. as for it being irresponsible to have kids, i think the following situations fall into that category... and it doesn't matter what their skin-color is:

people who are unable to financially support themselves

people who abuse alcohol or drugs

people who still think life is one big party

people who are not married

people who are abusive or in an abusive relationship

and note those are not in any particular order... and that ethnicity is totally irrelevant. any two people who are committed to each other (through marriage) and who do not depend on welfare or someone else to support them, who take life seriously, have every right to choose to have children.

So are you saying that no one who has a mental or physical disability that prevents them from being able to engage in significant employment should be allowed to have children?

So the term "human race" is incorrect? I believe the term race can be applied in both instances.

No, since some of my relatives are bi-racial. I dont even notice skin color when Im with them. Im usually shocked in photos when I see how dark they are. I just dont see it when Im with them.

Interracial couples dont make me uncomfortable. I have a husband who is a different race than I am. That makes my marriage interracial.

We would have liked kids. We planned on having kids. They would have been interracial. My niece and nephews are biracial, and I love them. I dont think it is irresponsible at all. I do not see why it is even important at all to think of what race they are.
