Time to count our blessings! *grin*

God is so good. He brought me to the love of my life. He's blessed me with helpful friends, professors, and family. He's provided the roof over my head, the car I drive. He's saved my soul and my life.

I'll let you guys at it before I get carried away :whistling:

Yes, God is good and He is so faithful.

My husband was laid off for this week from his job, they make gas tanks, so you can imagine how sales would be slow since 'gas' is involved.

The same day he got laid off, a man we haven't seen in a long time pulls into our driveway and asks my husband to do a side job for him, and then puts 450.00 in his hand.

That same man came back today with more orders....Is that God or what???!!!

God is such a good God.

Is God really that good? If what some Christians believe is true then God condemns 68% of His children to eternal damnation (68% of the worlds population are non -Christian) (link deleted)

Is this the act of a good God? to discriminate based on religion, when religion is not a choice for so many and depends mainly on geography?

I praise my Good God for His Word...

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Joh 1:2 He was in the beginning with God.

Joh 1:3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.

Joh 1:4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men.

Joh 1:5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Joh 1:6 There came a man sent from God, whose name was John.

Joh 1:7 He came as a witness, to testify about the Light, so that all might believe through him.

Joh 1:8 He was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light.

Joh 1:9 There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man.

Joh 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.

Joh 1:11 He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him.

Joh 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,

Joh 1:13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

Joh 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Joh 1:15 John *testified about Him and cried out, saying, "This was He of whom I said, 'He who comes after me has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me.'"

Joh 1:16 For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace.

Joh 1:17 For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ.

Joh 1:18 No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.

Joh 1:19 This is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent to him priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, "Who are you?"

Joh 1:20 And he confessed and did not deny, but confessed, "I am not the Christ."

Joh 1:21 They asked him, "What then? Are you Elijah?" And he *said, "I am not." "Are you the Prophet?" And he answered, "No."

Joh 1:22 Then they said to him, "Who are you, so that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?"

Joh 1:23 He said, "I am A VOICE OF ONE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS, 'MAKE STRAIGHT THE WAY OF THE LORD,' as Isaiah the prophet said."

Joh 1:24 Now they had been sent from the Pharisees.

Joh 1:25 They asked him, and said to him, "Why then are you baptizing, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?"

Joh 1:26 John answered them saying, "I baptize in water, but among you stands One whom you do not know.

Joh 1:27 "It is He who comes after me, the thong of whose sandal I am not worthy to untie."

Joh 1:28 These things took place in Bethany beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing.

Joh 1:29 The next day he *saw Jesus coming to him and *said, "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

Joh 1:30 "This is He on behalf of whom I said, 'After me comes a Man who has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me.'

Joh 1:31 "I did not recognize Him, but so that He might be manifested to Israel, I came baptizing in water."

Joh 1:32 John testified saying, "I have seen the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and He remained upon Him.

Joh 1:33 "I did not recognize Him, but He who sent me to baptize in water said to me, 'He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining upon Him, this is the One who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.'

Joh 1:34 "I myself have seen, and have testified that this is the Son of God."

Joh 1:35 Again the next day John was standing with two of his disciples,

Joh 1:36 and he looked at Jesus as He walked, and *said, "Behold, the Lamb of God!"

Luk 18:19 And Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone.

...and His salvation. Amen! ;)

Glory be to the Good God on High, ;)

I have a question to any one who is reading this message. Is God good, evil or good and evil

The most profound concept in all theology is G-D IS GOOD. He is 100% good, there is no shadow of turning in Him (James 1:17). I know He is good, because He he hounded me for years and never gave up on me until He got me.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
