I love Tim LaHaye. The co-authored a book called "The Two Sides Of Love" It was wonderful. I read the first five books of the Left Behind series and want to reread and read the rest. I give him two thumbs up :D

Actually, Jerry Jenkins wrote most of the Left Behind series of books. LaHaye supplied the outlines and got most of the credit. Lots of sour grapes on this thread. Interesting.

I agree :D

I would like to also note, no one who oppsese Tim LaHaye has Answered my post yet

The problem with his theology is that it undermines those who legitimately believe in a pre-tribulation rapture. In other words, his pre-trib theology doesn't even accurately describe proper pre-trib theology.

Oh well....it is a good way to make a buck.

As for your questions Trinity, I do not personally know him, but I know enough people who do know him professionally and personaly that I feel I can speak about him. He did not intend this to be used to make a buck....but it has become that way.

However, my beef with him isn't on his pre-trib stance, but the fact that each book has become a bit more watered down. I've read some of his actual theological books and it seems like he's almost adopting a "modern" view of the world....

Anyway, I'm post-trib, but I'm the kind that could care less. Fact is, none of us know.

You sure you want to call me out Trinity?

I think I have stated my views to my satisfaction on LeHaye and Left Behind. You can defend it if you like but your questions are not really relevent to the concerns I have stated.

If you think Me "Calling you out" is me asking you to just answer one of my 2 of my seven Questions then fine i am "Calling you out" But i'd prefer calling it asking you questions :D because in all of reality All i asked were 7 questions and all i ask of you or anyone who strongly Opposes Tim Lahaye as much as you to answer 2 questions of mind, and obviously you cannot :)

I am not defending him because i am in love with him, to be honest i couldn't force myself to read one of the Left Behind books, not because i hate him, just because i don't like the story-line. I am Just asking why you Hate Tim Lahaye so Much?

I personally don't know Tim LeHaye as a person, he might be the greatest guy in the world. However, the theology behind his book isn't sound. That is an object truth. Just like the capital of Nebraska is Lincoln, it isn't Omaha. There is a truth behind theology it isn't up for a vote, it isn't what ever each person wants it to be, and it sure isn't based on how good of a book it is.

I watched a 60 minute special on the two authors of this book and the person doing the interview asked them how much money they had made off of these books. All they would do is smile and say, "we really don't know, but we can tell that we have sould millions of copies of these books so that should give you some idea." I don't have a problem with a person making a ligitimate income off of selling books, but I do have a problem with a person misleading people and then making millions of dollars. The question is whether or not the two authors know they are misleading people, or have they bought into this madness, hook, line, and sinker.

I also would like it if they would of said, "we are donating 80% of what we have made to the poor." God has blessed us tremendously and we will share the wealth with the less fortunante.

And I know his daughter-in-law and can speak about his motives and thoughts going into the makings of the books. I know why the first several books moved along quickly and why the last ones moved more slowly. I know enough about him from his daughter-in-law to know that what people here who are speaking against him is wrong.

To begrudge someone making money from writing books is ridiculous. As someone said before, those who are not pre-trib are just "sour grapes" over the fact that the pre-trib story of these books became wildly popular. I'm not post-trib, but if they were written from the post trib standpoint, I wouldn't agree with the theology of the books, but I certainly wouldn't get angry and speak ill of him for making money with them. I would actually be glad that a Christian series of books had caught they attention and fascination of the secular world and made them aware that Jesus IS returning.

If any of you would like to write a series about the end times from the post-trib point of view, you are very free to do so. I'm sure there are a lot of people who would buy them, if they're written well enough. :D After all, Rick Joyner made a lot of money off of his mid-trib books about his dreams and visions of the end times.

Questions about your Posts

I However, the theology behind his book isn't sound.

In what ways? May i ask you something, I know your not a Pre-tribber :D obviously, But who are you to say since i don't believe it, it must not be sound? If i can recall, Pre, Post, Mid, etc... Are all theories, meaning every theory could be wrong, especially yours :D

I am saying this with no Offence to you... :)

There is a truth behind theology it isn't up for a vote, it isn't what ever each person wants it to be, and it sure isn't based on how good of a book it is.

Agreed :D But! who is to say My Theology is right or wrong on the countless theories of the end of the world, which goes with your THEORY also. The only sure Theology is Salvation.

I don't have a problem with a person making a legitimate income off of selling books, but I do have a problem with a person misleading people and then making millions of dollars.

Who are you to Judge his thoughts, legitimacy, and saying he is misleading people? What happens if it turns out the Pre-trib is true? Who would be the one who mislead people on earth, you or him?

The question is whether or not the two authors know they are misleading people, or have they bought into this madness, hook, line, and sinker.

And this... was just wrong...

I also would like it if they would of said, "we are donating 80% of what we have made to the poor." God has blessed us tremendously and we will share the wealth with the less fortunante.

And what if they did? Not only but should every author donate almost everything to the Poor... Did CS Lewis who made Millions? Yet you have no problems with him keeping his money?

I mean nothing against you! :D I am just warning you, Just because someone doesn't Believe as you on a THEORY JUST AS YOURS IS :P to just say "their theology behind the book isn't sound." For you are not the judge of that.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
