If God is calling you to do something, He will make it abundantly clear to you. He will confirm it in his word. There are no coinsidence's, everything happens for a reason.

If God is calling you, there will be no doubt.

You will want it more than anything else.

You will know. Agreed.

II. Peter 1

10: Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

11: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 1

"2": Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

"3": Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

"4": According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

"5": Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

"6": To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

"7": In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

"8": Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

"9": Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

"10": That in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

"11": In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

"12": That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

"13": In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

"14": Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

"15": Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,

"16": Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

"17": That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

"18": The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

"19": And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

"20": Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

"21": Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

"22": And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

"23": Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.

God will help you know your calling if you keep your focus on Him through Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. And He will give you the opportunity, unction, desire, and utterance to pursue your calling. Look to Him.

Peace.

Agreed. If G-d is calling you, He will make it clear in His Word and doors will open. Start moving in the direction of an open door--they come along so rarely!

I agree with the above- God will make it very clear what He wants you to do.

Be reminded, however, that not everyone is called to full-time missions work, etc.. some of us are right where God wants us, at ordinary jobs.

i agree with the previous posters...if GOD is calling you to do a specific thing, eventually you will know it clearly and without doubt. perhaps the seed has been planted already, but for sure when it grows to fruition you will be certain.

HI Mariah,

Have you been baptised in the Holy SPirit?

I ask because if not, you need to ask the Holy Spirit in and get to know HIs voice in you. Then in all things as HE leads you , you will follow Him and not look to signs or outwards things . But, to the Lord inwardly. Christ in you, your hope for glory!

Jesus sheep know HIs voice.

This is not to say that HE won't be doing outward things in your, life, HE willl.

BUt, in ALL things, to know and have the voice of the Lord in you, you will not wonder anymore, you will know!

The Holy SPirit lives in us and HE speaks to us about all we need. HE dicrens over us the gifts of the SPirit and HE also brgins into us the fruit of the SPirit.

WOrship God in SPirit and Truth in you. Always consult God, and your Bible in all things.

GOd bless,

elkie

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
