You know those moments when you can't see how things are going to work out and yet you know that Jesus is working it out, but you still don't feel at ease.

Absolutely! :21:

Thanks for sharing!

I have learned over the years to let the Lord have what ever it was I was going through.

Like just say there was this person put his troubles in a sack and took them to the lord in

prayer. When they were done praying they got up and left the sack for the Lord. They thanked

the lord for what he was going to do. I am not very good with words, but I hope you get the just of this.We are all diffrent and he works things out for all in ways just for them.

I love the Lord with all my hart mind and soul I could not live with out him,he is my life.

Wow Jackie this is refreshing. Everyone here said something positive about your experience. No one laughed it off and made rude comments about you having an hallucination or something.

I believe it and am glad to meet someone who believes that God can do anything. Thank you for sharing.

"Fresh Oil"

When I wake up

in the mornings

And I see the Light

Oh it makes me feel alright

Just knowing you are there

Lord knowing that your there (chorus)

(chorus)

Oh it's like fresh oil

Running down over me

As I get down on my knees

In your prescence So Sweet

Oh it's like fresh oil

It's like fresh oil

Oh your gentle spirit Lord

Always strentgthening what's weak

Filling me with your joy

making all the difference in the world

Oh I'm so glad Lord

That you are always there (chorus)

Oh Lord I remember quite well

The times you weren't around

All I could see were dark clouds

Hanging all around

No hope could be found

Till I turned my eyes up to you (chorus)

Just a song of mine. what was being said had reminded me of it so I got it out and dusted it off so I could share it with ya'll since you shared with us the beautiful hand of God in what you have said God bless

Openly Curious

I would love to be able to send this to a friend of mine. would it be okay to do so? I won't do so without your permission.. What a great piece of God's love. thank you for sharing it here at any rate.

This is actually very helpful to me right now. I have said that God is my alarm clock because He always woke me early for church. It sounded so tacky to say this about the almighty God of all creation but I was saying it in the same respectful, awe-filled way that you have described your time with God.

This is one of those anecdotes I will likely share to make a point some day.

He is the most amazing God. He keeps the universe spinning and gets us up on time. :noidea:

J,

That is so awesome. God is so good to us. He is concerned for the small things in life. Just rest in Him and know he is in control. If he can reach down and wake you up, see, his arm is not shortened to reach you. Did he not get your attention?

Well, the rest of your day is a peice of cake, He is so good.

I think this was great for everyone to wake up to this morning. It reminds us that God is there for us, even when we do not expect him to be. I always wake up early in the mornings for my devotionals. In fact on another post I put that I find myself waking up earlier and earlier to come down and spend time with God. Maybe it was not me waking myself up, but God waking me up to come and spend some quality time together. Thank you for this, we need more threads like this. Thank you for sharing and God Bless you as he works through your life.

Hello darski,

Sorry I did not see your post I hadn't revisisted the thread until today. But sure you can use the song as you would like to send to your friend. It only has two chords in the whole song but it sounds great to me as the Lord wakes me up everyday. It is funny that we actually think that we do everything for ourselves but it is simply not true we couldn't even get out of bed in the mornings lest he wake us up and we couldn't breath our very next breath in our bodies in and out lest he didn't grant it to us.

loving blessings

Thank you. My friend is very musical and will likely be able to sing it just from the words.

You are so right in how far our dependence goes in Christ.

Have a great day in the Lord.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
