I'm so hungry to see revival!!! True repentance. A restoration in this Land. A fresh move of the Spirit across this land. Men of God preaching the word of God without compromise-with the passion and zeal of the Lord. A hunger for the word of God revived in the hearts of the believers. Sold out saints giving their all to spread the Good News. Men of God with the zeal of the Prophets of Old, willing to speak what the Holy Spirit gives them. Faithful Intercessors. Young babes in Christ making leaps and bounds in faith, True dicipleship, true fellowship, true worship. Husbands and fathers taken their God given position in the family-bring restoration to the whole family. I could go- on and on

Will it come??

Lord have mercy!!!! :)

Yes, Candi, it will come, but not without cost. God has been speaking, and speaking and speaking, but so, so many are not listening, because they do not like the message. They want a God who will let them do whatever they want, who will spoil them rotten, and who will be there to wipe their noses when they need wiped, but they don't want a God who demands obedience and repentance and who calls for us to get on our knees in humility and in awe of him. People have lost the awe of God. They want to turn Jesus into a "nice guy," who never gets in their face about anything, but would they have crucified Jesus if he was such a "nice guy"?

Revival will most certainly come to this nation. We will see a great harvest of souls, but God will have to swing the sickle first in order to reap the harvest. A great judgment of God is coming to our nation, because the people are not repenting of their sin, they are not listening, and they are not obeying. They are living in spiritual adultery, apathy and lukewarmness. False teachers are rampant throughout the modern church in America, telling people what their itching ears want to hear. Most people do not want to hear the gospel of repentance and the gospel of the cross.

So, expect revival, but not without judgment first. That verse in Chronicles that everyone likes to quote so much begins with a judgment of God, then it says (during the judgment) "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and will seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." So, expect God's hand of discipline to come first, then people calling on God in humility and repentance, and then we will see revival and God's restoration.

Yes, it will Candi..God is faithful to His Word..if my people who are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray, I will hear from heaven....so keep pressing in for revival and it will come....

I am surprised at how many people leave out the two most important phrases in this verse "...and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways..."

for us to see revival, we must follow this too.........if my people who are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray, I will hear from heaven........

When people of God pray, God still hears from heaven and sends blessings to them.

May God bless with great revival everywhere!

We were in a Sunday school class a couple of weeks ago where the teacher quoted this in the same way, with leaving out those two phrases. I think this is just another example of how the message of repentance is being left out. People want to feel if they just "humble" themselves by the act of prayer that God will hear them and will bless them, but God is wanting us to seek him with all our hearts and he wants us to turn from our wicked ways, THEN he will hear from heaven and will "heal our land," and I don't think that is just a reference to physical property. I think of that as a spiritual healing of our nation.

Mr & Mrs Mike,

Very Correct!! Our nation is full of idol worship. I'm concerned that true repentance didn't follow the disasters we have faced most recent.

New Orleans, with vodoo-burning incense (spelling?)to other gods, and government as

an idol. This disaster fell on the just and unjust alike. Although the just have a better

promise-the others are forever lost. Everyone was mad at their idol for not helping

them. Some did turn to God. But where did you hear- Repent for the Kingdom of

God is at hand- Where was the cry to repent. The nation of the US went back to

sleep as they turned cnn off-reasoning it didn't happen to their city.

9/11 could represent the idols of silver/gold. The nation turned to patriotism. So they turned to worship america- have we not seen that it can be taken away-our president can't save us, government can't save us. Only Jesus. Hello-

this was a disaster that took our brothers and sisters- Where did we hear the crys

Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand-Did we repent. The nation went back

to sleep!!

America-throw down your idols- clean out the temples- make Jesus your Lord.

Fear God-he can seperate you into eternity-where there will be no more repentance heard.

Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!! America

you shall see and find this out the easy way or you will be the one forced to your knees.

Shake yourself and Wake up- Seek the Lord while he can be found.

Ricky, I'm with you concerning your nation also- No nation is exempt.

We must always be concerned for the feel good messages-especially in this nation-

it will lull us back to sleep- the sleeping giant (the Body of Christ) must awake-

take it's position and contend with darkness, we must reach the nations- not with

a false security blanket message- but the truth. The gospel is simple-let the Holy

Spirit keep it that way- our flesh will complicate it-dilute it.

HEAR US FROM HEAVEN

Lord hear our cry,

come heal our land

Breathe life into these dry and thirsty souls

Lord hear our prayers

Forgive our sins

And as we call on Your name

Would you make this a place for your glory to dwell

Open the blind eyes, Unlock the deaf ears

Come to your people, as we draw near

Hear us from heaven, touch our generation

We are your people, crying out in desperation

Candi,

You are so correct! They did not repent after 9/11 and went back to sleep. They did not repent after 8/29 and they went back to sleep. So, God is going to have to turn up the heat. What is coming is way bigger than 8/29 and 9/11 combined together. This will be like 9/11 and 8/29 nation-wide. This will be the absolute biggest disaster this nation has ever heard of before, and it will bring America to its knees, trembling in fear. It will divide the "sheep from the goats," because people will either turn to God or they will hate him. They won't see him as Mr "Nice Guy" anymore.

Well Bob and David...I'm so glad God doesn't see it that way. The church in South Africa across denominational barriers stood on that verse of Scripture for two years before the 1994 elections that freed our country from apartheid...to prevent the bloodshed that had been prophesied and expected and that should have taken place given the years of unrest, and pain and trauma of lives opppressed and families broken through aprtheid. After years of violence and racial hatred in the country, God heard from heaven and healed our land.We had the truth and reconciliation commission led by a minister, Bishop Tutu, who believed that same Scripture and brought many murderers and their victims families to a place of forgiveness and reconciliation that only could have come from God. I was part of the counselling team during that period so I know that it was God. Many of those affected didn't know why their hearts changed but it did. We had prayer meetings across the country in stadiums, all night prayer meetings and intercessory prayer teams based on that very Scripture....so I guess God made an exception for us cos I can assure you that only less than 0,5% of this country is Jewish!.

You truly have lived through a special moment in world history, I will grant you that. I have heard stories that have brought me to tears regarding the reconciliation. What Bob was saying and I am agreeing along with him. The verse chosen was a promise to Israel. Jesus in His Olivet Discourse says things are going to get worse not better. The idea of a Christian culture will only come about by His reigning in judgment. The job of the Christian is not to win the culture but save some out of the culture. The culture war we do fight is to keep the door open a little longer to the message of Christ. But in all reality Christianity fares better under persecution than in a permissive society. We might actually be praying against His will to pray for a Chrstian friendly society. The proof of that here in the so-called "Christian Nation" the U.S., the church has gradually adopted the world into its values and behavior,so much so, there is not much contrast between the church and the world. I would say the more accurate prayer is for the purity of the church, and that would probably would mean a downsizing, The church is the place of revival and not the national stage. Perhaps this is semantics but I suggest it is not. But Vitality yours is the more popular opinion it stirs people. How do I evaluate what happened in your country? It is what can happen when the church becomes salt and stirs the conscience of a nation. Does that qualify as a spiritual renewal? Well in the U.S. we had the civil rights movement that rode in on the heels of spiritual movement that addressed biggotry. It was followed by the societal rebellion of the 70's and the so-called sexual revolution, and then followed by the ME generation of the 80's. The 1990's it continued to slide and it is not getting any better in the new century. We are now embracing homosexual marriage in our country and not everyone in the church is against it, I believe the Lord is coming soon because the birth pangs are getting more intense and the frequency of this pangs are getting closer and closer. I'm not arguing, not being pessimistic that is not my nature, but I believe this is a truth the church had better come to terms with or they will not be focused on the real task of evangelism.

Christ's Free Servant,

I had a dream that I was with a group of people. I stopped to by corn a sighn said 3 for 4, it didn't give an explaination. The people with me were hungry, I was determined to feed them. I asked the man if he meant 3 corn cobs for $4.00 or $3.00 for 4 cobs, he refused to give me fool and became very insulted-he asked why I questioned him-he asked if it was because he was german.

He held us captive and striped us of everything only leaving things we had hidden. The man tried to make us upset- I refused to get upset and we very loudly began to praise/worship the Lord- God opened up the room where we were at and we were floating in an ocean full of people floating toward a destination. Those who were remaining in faith stayed afloat. We were delivered to a land-we were naked- but we were away from the enemy. My group was hidden within the bushes and were safe-small wolves wee around us but we were safe. Then I instinctively knew, this was not our destination- I instructed those around me to fly to our destination. I grabbed a few and others fluttered along. One said, "I am Seth He said: I have a word from the Lord, what does it matter if I have no job". I woke up.

I felt we were without a shepherd, we were stripped by the enemy-but the Lord kept us safe.

Seth (given by God in place of the murdered Abel-the one with the accepted sacrifice)

The word of The Lord must be first place in our life. The false shepherd stripe the sheep

for his own gain-they are simular to Cain-no concern for their brother: to murder those with an acceptible sacrifice. The false shepherd could not strip the word of God out of the sheep(true followers)-they kept it hidden and the Lord rescued them. The sheep would be taken out of the hand of the enemy and he would take them into another land where he would shepherd them.

The Lord lead me to Ezekiel 24, prophesy against the shepherds.

I read an interesting message "Weep for Your Shepherds! By David Wilkerson

www.tscpulpitseries.org/english/1980s/ts870209.html

Pray and weep for those shepherds, and continue to lift in prayer our godly shepherds

who are feeding the sheep.

The Lord asked Peter, Do you love me? He said, "Feed my Sheep!!!" :)

Candi,

Thank you for sharing that with us.

The Lord has given me many similar messages through dreams, visions, and through the reading of his word. It was like he took me up into heaven and let me look down so I could see what he sees, and it was heart breaking. Yes, that Ezekiel passage in chapter 34 is one the Lord has pointed out to me about the shepherds of the sheep now for the past 20 years, at least. And, he has allowed me to see this lived out - not the whole chapter, but to see how the shepherds of the sheep are doing this - in real life many times over, and I have wept each time for those sheep and those shepherds. God has put this burden on my heart to pray for His Church for the past 30 years. I haven't always done such a great job about praying, though, but he always brought me back to prayer for His Church and for revival.

Now, I believe the Lord said it is too late to pray away his judgment. But, we can still pray for the salvation of many souls. He said this coming judgment is for the purpose of the salvation of many lives. He has sent out many, many messengers throughout the USA to the Church to tell them that they needed to repent, but they are not listening. So, now he says "enough!"

I know you hear God's voice. You had a beautiful write-up on one of the other threads about how to hear God's voice. Will you ask him to show you what must happen in order for us to see revival in our land? I mean we know that people must repent and turn to God, but what will it take to get people in America to their knees? I believe it will take something much greater than 9/11 or 8/29. It will have to be something so big that it impacts our entire nation.

Again, thanks so much for sharing that. I feel with you for our nation and our Church in America!

The Lord asked Peter, Do you love me? He said, "Feed my Sheep!!!"

hello sister,

You had shared this dream in http://www.worthyboards.com/index.php?showtopic=38193

I never mentioned how thankful I was for your reply. Also your interpretation of "Michael White" in the preceding dream was very exposing!

I wanted to share somethings on your dream...

I stopped to by corn a sighn said 3 for 4, it didn't give an explaination. The people with me were hungry, I was determined to feed them.

You are sheparding people and seeking to feed the Lord's sheep who are hungry.

I asked the man if he meant 3 corn cobs for $4.00 or $3.00 for 4 cobs, he refused to give me fool and became very insulted-he asked why I questioned him-he asked if it was because he was german.

This part is very important. You did not know whether he meant 3 corn cobs for 4 dollars or 3 dollars for 4 cobs. It is obvious that this was unclear. This is likened to speaking out against false doctrines in the ministries of pastors or christian leaders.

The corn sale is a ministry which is suppose to feed the people of God. Yet you spot something wrong with this sale that many people do not see. Many people miss this settle error "3 for 4". But 3 cobs or 3 dollars? These are the false doctrines subtlely embedded in the ministry (ie prosperity gospel) of the leader that you are questioning or exposing.

The man is insulted by your questioning him. What the man asks next is very revealing...

He asked if it was because he was german.

We can see that is entirely irrelevant. This is how they will defend themselves and attack you in presence of the people. This is very like an ad-hominem or an attack against the person and not the real issue at hand. I see this happen a lot to true servants of God who speak against the false doctrines in the churches. The pastor or leaders of these churches attack the person personally (ad-hominem). The leaders hope to spread false and evil things about them and make sure that their congregation believes the same.

He held us captive and striped us of everything only leaving things we had hidden. The man tried to make us upset- I refused to get upset and we very loudly began to praise/worship the Lord

They try to humiliate and persecute the true servants of God; they want to strip them of everything they have but are not able to get to the hidden things. They try to make you upset. This is their true color...they want to provoke and instigate things in hopes to utterly destroy. These are not the servants of God who should be building up God's building!

God opened up the room where we were at and we were floating in an ocean full of people floating toward a destination. Those who were remaining in faith stayed afloat.

The ocean represents the troubles, sufferings and trials of the human life. The one's who were remaining in faith stayed afloat. This is much like when Peter walked on water as he kept his eyes on Jesus. When Peter took his eyes off of Jesus he began to sink. When we remain in faith we can stay afloat all our problems and trials in our life.

We were delivered to a land-we were naked- but we were away from the enemy. My group was hidden within the bushes and were safe-small wolves wee around us but we were safe.

You are delievered to a land...in contrast to the ocean which is the world, the land is the local church; the believers gathered together in the Name of the Lord. It is a haven from the things of this world; the arc that saves us from deaths waters.

You all were naked...you all had nothing of the world that the corn salesman striped away but the hidden things which are the things of the Lord; the Word of the Lord in your hearts. The church does not need a gigantic multi-million church building or a powerful sound system for songs of praise. Though you lack these things you are still away from your enemy who are "adding building to building" in their already large church buildings.

Small wolves were still around you guys...these are the other local churches around though the pastors or leaders of those churches are also "wolves in sheep's clothing" as well.

Then I instinctively knew, this was not our destination- I instructed those around me to fly to our destination. I grabbed a few and others fluttered along. One said, "I am Seth He said: I have a word from the Lord, what does it matter if I have no job". I woke up.

Amen. There is much more after we are built up together in the body of Christ (the Church and the Arc). In the days of Noah, the flood was a great judgement. Yet we are safe from the judgement inside the Arc (the Church). This is happening right now. We are like the dove in the Arc that was sent to see if the waters had receded to reveal land. The dove finds no dry land and must return to the Arc. We know that though we are in the world we are not part of it. For now our rest is in the Church. But the day is coming when the waters will recede and a new earth will appear. Then we will find our true rest and home.

One said, "I am Seth He said: I have a word from the Lord, what does it matter if I have no job"....our job is our livelyhood in this world. In some way or another our life is built around a job (what we do to make a living or what we do to put bread on the table). Can we truly say "I have a word from the Lord, what does it matter if I have no job?".

Truly we live not on bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. The Word of God framed this universe.

Praise the Lord.

Lord we live by your Word which is of spirit and life. We put our faith on your promises to us.

I was also moved to say something concerning the false shepards. I will add that soon.

Felix,

Thank you so much for the interpretation GLORY TO GOD- WOW!!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
