Openly Curious,

When I thought about you, I remembered a quote I recently heard:

"Suffering saints are living seed" -Charles Spurgeon

The truth is, a kernel of wheat must be planted in the soil. Unless it dies it will be alone--a single seed. But its death will produce many new kernels--a plentiful harvest of new lives. Those who love their life in this world will lose it. Those who despise their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. All those who want to be my disciples must come and follow me, because my servants must be where I am. And if they follow me, the Father will honor them.

John 12:24-26 NLT

As you said, He comforts us so that we can comfort others-is where its at.

Even-when others are a witness of us going through trials and tribulations and see the victory that the Lord gives-those living seed are being thrown and those who are fortunent enough to witness-their lives will be changed as they seek the Lord and they too have the potential to keep multiplying. Isn't it great there is a bigger plan and we aren't going through our trials for nothing!!! He is truly the Lord of the Harvest-Thank You Jesus!!!

People see your fruit- Keep on bearing!!!

Blessings

Dear sweet Candi,

Thank you for your kind words and obedience to the Spirit in writing them and yes you suceeded in making me boo hoo as the very scriptures you used in John has very special meaning in my life. G-d used these very verses to comfort my heart when my dad died. It is a very interesting story in the fact I never knew my real dad I only remember seeing him only once in my life. He was a drunk who beat my mom badly. I never heard from him until I was in a girls drug rehabilitation home trying to overcome depending on drugs and alcohol.

when my father called all he said was "Hello this is your father and I love you I am dying and I left you in my will and he said good-bye and it was all i could do to get I love you too out. But that was the entire conversation. We buried him on Christmas day as he died of emphsema. While they were lowering him into the ground the Sprirt reminded me of these very words in John except a kernel of wheat fall to the ground and die it has no hope of the resurrection.

My heavenly father went to great lenghths to reach me with that message "I love you and you are in my will" for I didn't feel at all like I was in his will at the time I was a total introvert at that time because of events as I have overcome so much but still have far to go. But dying out to self is a hard road but it is the only road I want to take. If you could see where Jesus brought me from to where I am right now then you would know the reason why I love him so. The words to a song which is so true to me in my battles to be an overcomer in whatever state I'm in good or bad up or down. blessings my dear sister and peace be upon your house.

What a blessing that you could speak the words to your earthy father. But I can't even imagine what that whole event would be like. But I can only imagine-how the Lord can use your testimony!!!! I get really stirred up inside-thinking about each and everyone in the body getting up each and every day-in trial, etc determined to allow the Lord to get them through their situations (for the battle is his)and continue to stand firm in their faith-because others are watching and reading these living epistles-its not in vain- our lives-are for a purpose.

His Grace is sufficient for US!!!

Blessings

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
