Are We Trust Worthy To God?

I really think there must be a differentation between the words "trustworthy" or "faithfulness" and "Perfection". No one is even hinting at perfection. We all make many mistakes. But there should be Patterns in our lives. And I think "patterns" is another noteworthy word. Patterns of behavior and response display what is inside.

This whole matter still comes down to a question of whether a person is capable of being trustworthy to God? I gave this definition in my last post, but will repeat it. It comes from the American Heritage Dictionary.

trustworthy- adj. Dependable; reliable _trustworthiness.n.

Even in the world, there are people that fit this description and others who do not. There are employees that, when left in charge of something, will see to it the matter is done right. Then there are others who need constant supervision to see to it the task is completed.

There is no reason to believe things are any differen't in the Kingdom of God. God has servants that will simply trust and obey whatever he says. When he gives them gifts, they don't bury them. When he gives them ministries, they faithfully execute them. On the other hand, there are those who bury their talents and because of laziness or unbelief, never fulfil their ministry on earth.

With this in mind, we certainly do have the opportunity to look deep within and ask ourselves, "Are we trustworthy to God?"
