I had alot of ministers addressing demons by their names. I want 2 know if this names were given to them by men thru there manifestations, or there original name?

Unless you have actually heard a minister ask a demons name and the demons reply. I wouldn,t take for granted what the minister said.

Getting a real demon who has truly possessed someone to talk to you is actually a few and far in between event. I would be very careful if I were you.

lol who cares if they talk to you all theyll do is lie lie lie lie lie lie or tell the truth in a way that is hurtful/deceptive

theres a verse about how to recognize an unclean spirit basically any spirit which doesnt acknowledge Christ has come in the flesh is an evil spirit. So if you hear something hurtful/deceptive from a spirit or doesnt line up with Christ its evil. 1st Joh 4:3

My daughter has asked me questions about demons and this is what I told her: they are like bugs. Bugs are so much smaller than us but some people are very much afraid of them. It's an unreasonable fear. They cannot hurt us. All they can do is cast a line of bait in our ear and hope we bite. Remember the little man behind the curtain in the Wizard of Oz? it's like that.

Fearing them is handing them power and control. Without fear, all they can do is crouch.

Know what works for me, though, I picture them singing this song if I give in to their temptation and it helps me resist it.

None,

While demonic spirits have power they are no match for Jesus as God's power is greater than demons. We as people and human beings do not have power over demons it is only through Christ we have been given power so it is God who has the power and not we ourselves.

The whole analogy is bad that you have used as you made it out like demons have no power. We cannot simply squash demons like a bug I wish it was that simple but it is God through Christ that has the power over demons and not we ourselves.

Also I would beg to differ with you if you think demons have no power as you can read in the book of Acts about the seven sons of sceva who the demon spirit inside the man gave those seven men a licking as they ran away from the demon with their clothes riped among other things.

But demons can hurt people. The disciples even couldn't cast out a demon from a man and they came to Jesus and asked why come they couldn't cast out the demon from the man and Jesus said that some come not out except by prayer and fasting. It is not as easy as you make it out.

The man who was demon possessed and the demons would cause him to run down to the tombs and tear his clothes off being naked. The people said they had him bound with chains to stop him from doing what he did but that he would break them and return to the tombs as he was cutting himself demons can hurt.

So just having no fear doesn't give one the power of God as it belongs to God and not we ourselves.

OC, given the last post of yours I just responded to, I'm willing to bet you're attacking my analogy just to attack my analogy.

and I'm now ignoring your posts, I'm sorry to say.

Just one thing I forgot: when teaching a child about demons, which is what I was speaking about, we need to be careful not to make them seem more powerful then they really are because children tend to take things to heart and also use every excuse they can grab hold of to justify poor behavior.

Why not just tell the kids what they are and that only Jesus can "squash" them? Tell the kids the power of God and let them latch onto that from an early age. Maybe then we would have some Christians growing up who know their authority. (this is assuming your kids are christian of course.)

As far as my children being Christian or not, I'll let God be the judge of them. I can only do my part, to the best of my abilities. My daughter is watching things and listening to her friends at school and she had questions about demons. Before I gave her the answers I gave her, the only thing I taught her WAS the unmatched power of God.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
