If it is in the Holy Bible then I believe it. If you have a problem with anything being replaced you may want to take it up with our Heavenly Father. He is the one that made the Jews covenant "conditional" and not "perpetual."

Israel's right to the Land and their place as God's nation is not "conditional." Israel's right to the Land is based upon the Abrahamic Covenant, which an unconditional convenant. Same with Israel's nationhood See Jeremiah 31:35-36. Israel is God's nation forever.

You know shiloh, I thought we were getting along so well, but it seems obvious to me that you have a problem with the Adventists and their interpretation of the Bible, let alone allowing other's to express a theological viewpoint different than yours.
I can't stop you from presenting your views, but if you start veering from the Bible I will be here to correct your errant "theology." I could tell from the beginning that you were baiting a trap.

I disagree with you asscertion with respect to the covenant promises regarding the land and with respect to me and my motives your suspisions are uncalled for, unnecessary and unwarranted. Unless of course you only want your views and your brand of theology preached here.

You cannot be saved simply because you were born a Jew.

Proclaiming that the Lord God is not finished with Israel (the Jews) yet is not claiming they have a free ride to salvation. That is a false accusation.

**

Correction:

12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?

13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:

14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them. In referrence to the Gentiles

15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? In referrence to the Gentiles

16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. In referrence to the Gentiles

Wrong!

Here is how it should properly be understood:

12 Now if the fall of them (Jews) be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them (Jews) the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?

13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:

14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh (Jews - Paul was a Jew, remember?), and might save some of them (Gentiles).

15 For if the casting away of them (Jews) be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them (Jews) be, but life from the dead?

16 For if the firstfruit (Jews) be holy, the lump (Gentiles) is also holy: and if the root (Jews) be holy, so are the branches (Gentiles).

Some promises don't last forever:

Deuteronomy 4:25 When thou shalt beget children, and children's children, and ye shall have remained long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, and shall do evil in the sight of the LORD thy God, to provoke him to anger: 26 I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over Jordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed. 27 And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD shall lead you.

Deuteronomy 29:24 Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this land? what meaneth the heat of this great anger? 25 Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt: 26 For they went and served other gods, and worshipped them, gods whom they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them: 27 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book: 28 And the LORD rooted them out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day. 29 The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

He did not forget them, nor is He finished with them. God has provided for them and now therefore they are now free to accept the same salvation available to you and I.....the sacraficial blood of Jesus Christ.

Some promises don't last forever:

But God's promise to Abraham that the Land of Israel is forever is found here:

And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

(Genesis 17:7-8)

He hath remembered his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations. Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac; And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant: Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:

(Psalms 105:8-11)

God's promise to Israel is that the Land is their's eternally.

God also promises that national Israel will NEVER be set aside by God:

Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me forever. Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.

(Jeremiah 31:35-37)

I would suggest you read the promises and curses a tad closer. God indeed said they would lose their land, and they did. Then he brought them back, and they lost it again.

The whole world is Israel because Abramham's seed is the seed of many nations.

Face facts. Modern day Israel is a secular nation, not a theocracy as in Bible times. The Jews rejected Christ. The time of the Gentiles has begun and is being fulfilled.

Sorry RND, but you are the one who needs to read a little closer. God said that the covenant that He was establishing with Abraham and his seed (this is not referring to Christians or anyone else) the physical nation of Israel was an eternal covenant. This is not the "seed" promise that Paul refers to in Galatians. Paul is citing what God said in to Abraham in Genesis 21 when He is talking about the seed of Abraham.

The Land promise pertains to Abraham's natual seed, and God said that this is an "eternal" promise in Gen 17:7-9. Eternal means perpetual.

As for the current state of Israel, God promised to restore them and the current nation of Israel is a fulfillment of Ezekiel 36 and 37. God brought back only a small number of Jews from Babylon. Ezekiel 36 and 37 speak of God returning restoring Israel and returning their people from the nations where they were scattered. This two-thousand year long scattering was what God had restored the current nation of Israel from.

Again, another lesson in reading comprehension... God was not talking about the ordinances of the sun and moon and stars departing from Israel.

If you really stop to read it, God is saying if these ordinances (sun, moon stars waves roaring, etc) depart from before Him (if they cease to exist) , if the foundations of the earth can ever be measured, then God will cast off Israel.

Since the Sun is still in the sky as is the moon and stars ,and since the waves still race to the shore, since the foundations of the earth have never been and never will be measured, then God has not cast of national Israel, and they are STILL his chosen nation, despite what anyone says.

Shiloh,

As for the current state of Israel, God promised to restore them and the current nation of Israel is a fulfillment of Ezekiel 36 and 37. God brought back only a small number of Jews from Babylon. Ezekiel 36 and 37 speak of God returning restoring Israel and returning their people from the nations where they were scattered. This two-thousand year long scattering was what God had restored the current nation of Israel from.

Do you really think this is the war of Ez 36 and 37?

Doesn't that mean that Russia is going to play part in this too? :)

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
