I would like to hear your stories of any Miracles that you, a friend, or a family member, or anyone for that matter that has expierienced from God. I love to hear stories of Such, and How God works in our lives.

Here are a few...

1) When my mom was a kid [she was abused as a child and wanted/needed something to love and love her back] there were many cats in the neighborhood that she made friends with but she was very allergic to them, so she prayed and asked God to heal her and He did. all rashes left and she has never been allergic to animals since. In fact we have been doing kitty rescues since I was a kid.

2) Mom has also had several car related miracles... One time another car nearly side-swiped her on a busy [rush hour] freeway, causing her to spin out of control... And for that one moment it was as if all traffic stopped, the cars that were behind, to the side and in front of her were all gone, she came to a stop all alone at rush hour and settled across the lanes of traffic. It wasn't until she got her wits back and got the car going in the right direction that the traffic began to flow again, bumper to bumper. She said she was praying during the ordeal and that she knew the road was cleared for her safety, since there was no other explaination.

For a time we lived in a rual area where a long winding road ran along the Little Spokane River led to town. One winter there were many accidents and much of the railing was out. The roads were like ice rinks and mom slid off the road and down a 50 ft embankment that led to the river... But, she had been praying again and did not fall into the river, infact she only fell halfway down because she was caught by a small scrub of a tree... When the rescue people found her they commented that it must had been a miracle, 'cause that tree wasn't really more than just a small branch, and it held her big truck up and out of harms way.

Just recently while comming home from work, it must have been around 2 am the car traveling in the same direction, in the lane next to her, flipped. Can't figure out how or why it flipped, it just flipped... But when it did the car went airborne and actually flipped over her car as if it was playing sideways leap frog! Again the power of prayer, she always says a small prayer before getting in the car and for good reason!

3) My father was rather abusive, he went through several months of deep, violent, depression when I was about 16-17 yrs old, mumbling under his breath that we'd all be better off dead. It became his normal practice to load a bullet or two into a revolver for a game of Russian Roulette, something he liked to do as I came home from school... Upon entering the house the gun would be pointed at me and the trigger pulled... And every time it was just a click, despite the one or two rounds that could be seen in the chamber. God's grace and protective hand saved me, it was another answer to prayer.

4) During a period of one week I had been in two car accidents... The first one a lady who was having a stroke hit us; in the second a man blinded by cataracts hit us. He was taking himself to the hospital for cataract surgery, believe it or not. It was the second or the combination of the two acidents that really caused me physical harm. My heart was bruised and other organs were banged up as well, I began to have seizure like episodes in my sleep. I was married at the time and my husband would wake up with me shaking, my heart rate was ridiculously high, my attending physician could not figure out why this was happening, but he did not think I would make it. I remained under his care for for over a year, visiting his office daily at times. When he finally released me from his care, he said it was a miracle, that was when he told me how much doubt and fear he held for my recovery. God was watching out for me again.

5) I must keep Him busy cause during that same time as I was trying to recover from the accidents, I was also pushing myself to do normal activities, to the point where I'd get voilently ill. One of these activities was helping my elderly in-laws. They had there own autoshop and need the property cleaned, this involved removing old 'parts cars' some that were stored way off in the back of the property. This was in swampy Louisiana, and required me to operate the wench truck and to finally use those 9th grade metal shop skills, by cutting up the cars with a torch. Ninth grade electives were non-elective, everyone took metal shop. In my defense I was very sick at the time and should not have been doing anything but bed rest, but I was too mule headed to know better. Many of the cars were rusted or immbedded in mud and could not be easily taken apart or moved and I had a really hard time with one. I began too remove the struts, wheels, etc.. but was not getting anywhere, so I tried to cut off an old nut/bolt with the torch. I did not realize that it was under pressure from a large suspension spring... Just as I get through the last bit of metal with my torch, I slip in the mud, causing me to fall.... Thank God I slipped!!! Because as the hot molten nut/bolt thing released itself, the pressure caused it to fly, as I slipped the hot molten 'bullet' whizzed past my ear and singed a bit of hair. If I had remained upright or if the timing had been off just a smidge, I'd be dead. His protective hand was keeping me safe, again! Oh, I was much more careful after that and stopped pushing myself too hard, so it also had the double whammy efect of a 'wake up call'.

Sorry, I didn't mean for this to be so long, perhaps I'll share more at another time.

When my mother was delivering me...her pelvic bone did not come apart or whatever they are supposed to do (don't ask me, my kids were cesearean) and I got stuck in the birth canal. They called for a doctor (I was being delivered by a nurse). Mom was so scared I was going to die. She prayed that if she could die in my place, let that happen. She was given a vision of a little girl in a field of flowers wearing a specific dress.

She woke up just in time for the doctor who manipulated her somehow and delivered me via forceps. She forgot the vision. One day when I was about two, we lived with my granparents cause Dad was in Vietnam. They were looking for me and could not find me. She prayed to find me...and received the exact same vision. The field was out in back of my aunt's house (she lived down the road, I'd gone over there). I didn't own a dress like that, but she went anyway. There I was, in the field picking flowers in that dress she'd seen. Aunt Marie had given me a dress which had belonged to one of her girls when they were little (there is almost 20 yr between my mom and aunt marie).

I guess that was a two fer...

Divine Intervention:

In my early 20's as I have attempted suicide several times. I had it planned out and once again I was going to attempt to kill myself. The day came when I was going to carry it out. I was in my bedroom and a very, very heaviness over powered me. I can't explain it except to say that after the fact, it was the Holy Spirit. I fell into a deep sleep. The Lord gave me a vision. I was standing there with my two hands held out in front of me. And the Lord placed a piece of gold in my hands. It was a large piece of gold, it took both hands to hold it. It was pure gold, so pure I could see through it {I never read or heard of pure gold until later in the book of Revelation}. The Lord said to me: "You are more precious to me than this gold."{Is. 13:12} I woke up crying, and crying. And it was then that I realized it was the next day! The Lord intervened in my attempt to commit suicide and He brought me through it into the next day.

in Him;

Lady raven,

That is so awesome! My mom had been praying to have a little girl. She and my family were at the dinner table and she saw a little girl dressed in yellow (2 years old approx)walking down the hall. She made my dad get up and look for the little girl-no where to be found. When I was two years old-she knew it was me!

Mrcorey- That is so awesome.

I've been there with suicide too, until the Lord gave me a dream-I was leaving my body and realized I didn't want to go. Decided it wasn't for me!!

I've experienced miracles- but the biggest one is THat he saved Me!!!

Well, I personally have experienced no miracles in the sense that people see them. I have been granted the miracle of grace, the miracle of salvation, and the miracle of just being given one day of life after another, with which I have a brand new opportunity to serve God, to love God more, and to try to draw nearer to Him. Each day truly is a miracle, BECAUSE it allows us those opportunities. No matter how strong we are as Christians, there is room to improve, and the Lord gives us time to do so.

Here is a miracle that a friend of mine had:

My friend, Carole, had just given birth to her third child, about two months after her husband had run off and left her to raise the children herself. She had already started having problems and major concerns with the two children she already had, and a third one was going to make things a lot harder for her.

Carole's faith was strong, and she fully trusted in God; however, she was scared that she could no longer handle things by herself. So she vehemently prayed for God to come into her life and help her (she was starting to feel that God had backed away from her, so she felt very separated from Him).

When that third child came, it was born with Down's Syndrome. Carole loved that child with all of her heart, but a Down's Syndrome child was a devastating blow to her, because of the extra attention it would require. She felt that she had not enough for the three children as it was, but to have a child born that would require EXTRA attention was enough to make her lose a lot of trust in God.

"Why would God do this to me NOW?" she started thinking.

While lying in her hospital bed, a priest and a nun were making their rounds to the various patients, and they stopped briefly in Carole's room. Only the priest spoke to Carole, because the nun was French. She spoke not a word of English, and Carole knew not a word of French.

After the priest and nun left her room, Carole (feeling depressed and alone) prayed to God again. She said, "Lord, where are you now, in my greatest time of need?" Within seconds, the nun came back into the room. She stopped beside Carole's bed, and said to her, "I am right here, closer than ever. And I will never leave you."

All of it, in PERFECT English!!

Carole had her share of problems after that, as all parents do. But without that little word of encouragement from God (spoken through a nun who could speak no English), she feels as though she would not have been able to go on. It was the ONLY thing she required at her darkest moment...just knowing that God was right there with her.

OK, one I remember now..perhaps latter I will post more ..

Once upon a time in a ...

Oh yea...

When one of my sons was 4 years old I left him with my friend and I went to take a shower..

All of a sudden I began to shout in tongues and pray for my little son in such an urgent manner that it nearly frightened me...

In the middle of this I hear a screech of tires...

After I came back downstairs my friend told me Ed had gone into the street and walked out in front of a truck and nearly got killed..

I consider that he was kept from dying that day to be a miracle... :mgqueen:

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
