Well, I'm still learning on this.

My highest gifts seem to be prophecy, discernment and teaching. Right now I am in the process of trying to locate my niche in my new church so that I can best serve the Lord. I've very excited at all the possibilities before me! Now, I just have to narrow it down to a few!  :t2:

Well, I took a test on-line last night to find my spiritual gifts (http://www.cforc.com/sgifts.cgi) According to that my highest gifts are Prophecy, Knowledge, and Giving. Don't really know what to do with them yet though.

Ah, Wisdom.  There you go again! I don't check the message boards for a few days and you already have new discussions that I can't wait to take part in.  :t2:

So far.. I don't really know what I'm talented at.  I mean, the few things I -am- talented at, I can't seem to make them work with my Christian beliefs.

The only thing I'm really good at is school. So.. what can I do with that?? lol  Take my report card to church with me?? lol

I play guitar at my church with the worship team and I also do some songs before we get into our home bible study time. I enjoy being able to play songs for God. It is rewarding to see how the music can help to usher in a spirit of praise and worship. I have to rely upon the Lord to equip me for service. I like 2 Timothy 2:21 "If a man cleanes himself, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work." I would encourage those who are not sure as to where they fit in the body to just clean up areas in your life and the Lord will show you as you seek and pray to him.

Fire: Everything you are gifted with is a gift from God.

Some of these gifts are to be used in the church...

others are to be used in the world...and sometimes God

makes double duty use of the same gifts in both

       arenas.

God is the author of all of them...and has his purposes

for each and every one of them.

If God has given you the ability to do well in school...

then the gifts you posess must be related to what God

wants to do with you in that arena...possibly in the

present... and possibly in the future... possibly for your

own growth... possibly as a tool to reach others.

The exciting thing about this walk of faith is using our talents in whatever way the Lord has given us to use them. He gets the glory whether our gifts are ever recognized by others at church or not.

I am a singer and a musician. I get to use my gifts at church alot.... but God also lets me use them in the world. He has opened the door for me to go into a public school setting as a volunteer to teach music to troubled teens at an alternative school. What I do there may never get seen by others...but it is seen by God...and I am more thrilled to be making a difference in the lives of those who need the Lord....than I am in recieving the applause of my church family.

:inlove:

I'm not sure what my gifts are except for intercessory prayer. I certainly don't  know results because sometimes I don't even know who I'm praying for, I just do it.

I've been acting and singing and writing and playing music all of my life. The first song I ever wrote was called "He Loved Them", about you know who!

When I walked away from God I used those gifts in an unholy way, but since I've come home He has blessed me tenfold. I am on the Praise team and the Drama Ministry. through my voice I get to praise God Every Day in practice! And 3 times a week in services. After our Drama on Easter, 8 adults and 7 teens gave their lives to Christ. He spoke through us! HOW EXCITING!!!

I haven't taken the Spiritual gifts quiz--I'm going to do that!

I do give; and the more I give the more I seem to get back! It's a big crazy circle. I used to make excuses and drop a $5 into the pouch, but now I write them a check every week--it's fun to watch the Lord's work through my little offering! I feel Him smile and hug me every time I sacrifice a little for Him. OK, rambling again--

I took that test and my top one showed "Serving".  It fits because I love to serve and I am active in my church with this gift.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
