Okay. You guys win. Curse away; perhaps the Lord has said to you 'curse Paul and Jan....'

Have a GREAT time. But judgment day is coming in which men will answer for 'every idle word.' Not only Paul and Jan Crouch, but everyone who ever spoke on TBN. They will be judged by their own words......and so will you who curse these two decent people.

Join the club, my dear!

TBN is a ministry of, and by, satan. Paul Crouch has the spirit of anti-christ in him, and his network daily leads thousands of unsuspecting people further down the path to hell and away from the true Gospel of Christ and Him cricufied (1 Cor. 1:23).

He is, in my opinion and according to Scripture, preaching a false gospel and another Jesus (Gal. 1:6-9). He and his minions- like Benny Hinn, Paula White, John Hagee, etc.- are getting rich off of the poorest of the poor in this country and the world with their 'gospel of prosperity' and "sowing" of seed into THEIR ministry. The only "kingdom" this is advancing is Mr. Crouch's, not God's.

As Jesus said, "Do not be decieved," dear Daughter. These people have sold their souls- knowingly or not- to the devil, in exchange for riches and fame in THIS world and NOT for the one to come. I strongly believe this word is from the Lord! Amen.

Stand strong! That "other part" of you was undoubtedly the Holy Spirit telling you that this woman and what she was telling you to do was NOT of God. Don't forget, the enemy knows the Bible even better than we do, and will try and use it against us whenever he can. Remenber how the serpent tried to use God's Word against Christ in the garden? So just because you felt that Ms. White's message was for you, which probably is true, it obviously was not coming from the Lord.

You want to be faithful to God and "bring something to the table for Him to multiply?" Give to your church. Give to missions. Give it to the homeless man or woman on the street!. It doesn't matter even how much. Then, just stand back and watch as the Lord rewards you and multiplies you, all because of your faithfulness to Him and not in mere men.

God bless...

In Christ,

MikeE

2 Tim. 4:1-4

And all this is spoken in love, brother? Well God bless you for what you believe, but I do believe differently and I think that calling Paul Crouch the spirit of Antichrist takes it...

Let me point something out to you...at least Paul Crouch is trying to get the Word out to the world. ARE YOU??? Brother, I love you in the Lord, but you need a little board of education applied to the seat of learning here.

The scriptures say "judge not, lest ye be judged". I'm going to pray for you, Brother. May God bless you.

One should always be strategically interested in those who teach a "prosperity Christianity" meaning essentially prosperity FOR THEM, but continuing "poverty" FOR YOU. Check first to see if they're active members of the Evangelical Financial Accountability Association (such as with the Graham people. It's more than tragicomic to discover that some of these kind folk such as Ken Copland, Joyce Meyers (check her estate mansion-like homes for each member of her family), Creflo Dollar (I understood him to publicly state that he drives one of the most expensive cars available!), Benjamin Hinn (who had to be "brought back down to earth" but James Robison!), and I also wonder about this White lady out of Tampa, et al, might indeed be taking a whole lot of earnest Christian viewers for "THE RIDE" of their lives! As an interested viewer and contributor, why not ask to receive a notarized copy of their Annual Financial Statement, for say, 2006? It's very important to keep foremost in mind that one's (Christ-like) attitude towards money is an active indicator of one's spiritual maturity in Jesus Christ or lack of such.

The questions are: What gospel is being preached? What Christ is being preached?

I've testified here to my own personal experience working for TBN. What you see on the surface -- on the television -- is nothing compared to what happens when the camera is off the set. I don't need to dig up that old post. But when you've had dealings with TBN as I have there is simply no doubt that the Christ they preach is not the Christ of the Bible.

Whether Paul and Jan are genuinely "of the Lord" who have simply been deceived or whether they are really just snake oil salesmen is not my concern. The Lord knows and He will deal with them accordingly. What is of grave concern is the fact that they do not represent the genuine ministry of the Lord Jesus. They do not preach Christ. They preach another gospel.

Our pastor said, concerning the "giving to receive movement"......"If they truly believed the 'return' on their pledges...100%, then they would send all of their 'partners' $100.00.....then all of their financial needs would be met".

Don't get me wrong, I have been blessed many times by many tele-evangelists....and I will NOT bash ANY nor tear them down, which I know is often common with some of our brothers and sisters, that "If you aren't just like me or believe just like I do you are wrong....I just try to remember each body part is different and operates differently but all make up the body and if Jesus uses them to futher the Kingdom who am I to condem it?? He is "The judge".

One can Google ANY ministry and put False and you will Always find negative pages....satan doesn't want the Lord's work to go on.

So I feel as the other believer wrote...."spit out the bones", If the message blessed you be blessed, if it made you feel pressured to give, don't..."The Lord loves a cheerful giver"...You know when the LORD moves you to give if it is HIS will, and then we do it cheerfully not when we feel manipulated.

Ovedya talkes about the "preaching of another gospel" and "another Christ" and "another Jesus". I hear people talking about ministers "preaching another gospel". What gospel TEXT is that? What religious document are they preaching from, if they are not preaching from the Gospels of the New Testament?

If these people are not preaching about the Jesus of the Bible, then what Jesus in history are they preaching about?

I guess I need some enlightenment into the differences between the Jesus of the Bible and this other Jesus that these ministers are preaching about, so I myself can know WHY what they preach is not Biblical.

GG, God bless you, brother! Perhaps Ovedya can formulate a response better than I, but I wanted to add my thoughts to your question. One can "preach" from the Bible and still be completely wrong! All it takes is a subtle twisting of Scripture here and there, etc. and you have completely different gospel! It's like mixing one part gasoline to 99 parts water; it is still water, but yet now it is a poisonus water!

What good does the gospel as presented by TBN do? I don't wish to be sarcastic, but let's face the facts; a gospel of greed is not the gospel that Jesus presented! They wish to present a Jesus to you that was rich in wealth!!! On this, I kid you not, GG! I heard John Hagee proclaim it one night on his TV program, and several others have did it as well. What does the Scripture have to say? Let's see it straight from the mouth of Christ:

Luke 9:58 Jesus replied, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head." (NIV)

Does that sound like a rich Jesus? It doesn't to me! So if TBN and company are presenting a rich Jesus, they are not presenting the Jesus of the Bible, right?

Herein lies a grave danger. If you tickle people's ears with a "God wants you to be rich" message, how are you helping them? When Brother Joe Smith in Anywhere, USA doesn't receive the 100 fold blessing on his gift he gave, he starts to wonder what's going on. The TBN crowd tells him he simply didn't have enough faith or maybe perhaps he didn't send enough money in. So Brother Joe sends more in and tries to have more faith, but yet he winds up all the poorer for the money he sent in. Perhaps in frustration, Brother Joe decides to walk away from Christianity because he obviously is doing something wrong in his mind.

When Kenneth Copeland teaches that Jesus became a brother to Satan and became evil incarnate upon the Cross, is he preaching the Jesus of the Bible? When he says that Christ's sacrifice on the Cross wasn't enough and that Christ had to burn in Hell, is that the Jesus of the Bible? Again, let's let Scripture speak:

1 Peter 1:18 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. (NIV)

When Steve Munsey gets up on TV during a pledge drive and starts in different proclamations that are not found in the Bible, is he preaching the Gospel in it's pure form? I once saw him on TV personally proclaiming the #6 was a triple blessing! Why you ask? It would seem he read something into the following Scriptures that is not there:

Genesis 1:25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. (KJV)

Genesis 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. (KJV)

Somehow, he found another verse declaring that the 6th day was good, and therefore, it is a "triple blessing." Let's see, we have 6 three times, or 666!!!! That just doesn't sound like a blessing to me! :emot-pray:

As I said, GG, God bless you and I hope that what I posted is of some value!

Look...and I am praying as I type this....this whole thing is turning into another Latter Days/MSOG post....Here's all I want to say on it....talk to the Lord as to whether the Gospel is being preached on TBN or any other television ministry. If He tells you it isn't...turn the channel....If it is....support it...I'm not saying give your tithes and offerings to TBN or whatever, I'm saying support it with PRAYER.

A lot of times ministries have to be run like BUSINESSES....complete with CPAs and everything. Do you not think God won't bless a minister for preaching the Word? You all make it sound like everyone who is involved in these ministries are in a CULT! No, they aren't. They sincerely believe that what they are doing is God's will---and because of that, NONE OF US HAS THE RIGHT TO JUDGE THEM. Let God do the judging. Our job is to do the loving. To outright say that Paul Crouch and TBN is of the devil is itself of the devil.

Please remember..."judge not lest ye be judged".

As for that one person who worked for TBN...brother/sister, I worked for 2 years for Dr Jack and Rexella Van Impe. I understand the problems working for a TV ministry. It's not easy, but again it is NOT OUR PLACE TO JUDGE. God will do that on the last day as to whether or not a ministry is of Him. The bottom line is that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is going out to all the world as a testimony, as it is supposed to.

I don't always agree with TBN and all the ministries on it, but it's a darn sight better than watching the trash on CBS, or NBC or ABC or Fox.....and since I don't have cable, it's all I have....so I am grateful to at least have Christian Television to watch as an alternative. I think we have lost sight of that.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
