What do we do to get PUBLIC discussion of the awful truth?

Three permanent voting members of the UN Security Council ( UNSC) and one non-voting member  sold military equipment to Iraq DURING AN ARMS EMBARGO .

This endangered the lives of the British and American troops ( and the Danish submarine come to think of it!) and prolonged the war as well as causing the deaths of many civilians. Russian made GPS jammers make GPS-guided smart bombs hit civilian targets instead of their military objectives.

What to do?

Surely they should be thrown off the UNSC ? If we do; will the UNSC be any use again ? (Is it any use now?)

Why should the UN control Iraqi rebuilding when the French Russian and Chinese can veto any plan that stops them getting the lucrative contracts ?

The Mohammedans ( word chosen carefully; not through ignorance) told the world last month that "Allah will defeat the false god"

Since the most humiliating military defeat in the history of the world; the Arabs are questioning the power of Allah to achieve anything except lies and opression.

WHat should we pray FOR ?

Jesus died for Arabs. We need must pray that they will see the Truth ; and accept Jesus as The True Prophet.(If you want to know why we know that Mihammed was a false prophet according to the Koran; let's open another forum!)

Wht do YOU think we should be praying for at this time ?

Hi Mike I am not sure that I can answer any of your questions. But I can reassure you that God's will is what will be done here. I watched the other day as Saddam's statue came tumbling down, and the Iraqi's were grabbing the soldiers and dancing in the street. I watched as a man held out his young son to kiss the cheek of an American soldiers and the happiness and the openess of the Iraqi's and Americans celebrating together. And it all hit me as the Holy Spirit spoke in my ear, watch closely you are seeing the face of God. All the ploting and personal agenda's of all the players, some saying it was for oil, others for weapons of mass destruction, the UN and France because they have financial interests that will be hurt, the pride of the Arabs crumbling. In those beautiful moments God showed us what His agenda was. The walls of hatred built over years, the mistrust, the distance was all overcome and love, joy and gratitude shined forth. God used the defeat of a common enemy to break through all of it in a relatively short period of time. It's incredible, amazing, mind boggling. God worked within mans own selfish desires to bring about His will here on earth. Praise the ancient of days. Allah was called upon and he failed. So much happened here and all the talking heads are still talking. Let them talk, God laughs at them because in the end His will will always prevail. There may be weapons of mass destruction yet found but so what, it was God's plan all the time to free these people and free them He did. I caution you to not look so much to what people are saying and all the politics but to look to God and see what His next move is.

I was thinking exactly the same, here are the people in Iraq and Saddam Hoesein shouting to Allah and cursing the States,all they believed in failed Allah didn't listen to their prayers, hopefully this will open the hearts from many for the real God,we should be praying that God will show many the truth, this reminds me too of the story of Baal!!

I saw the press conference with Bush and Blair the other morning.  Pres. Bush kept saying that they wanted the UN to play a central role in the rebuilding of Iraq, or something like that.  But he never said what this "central role" was.

Finally, a reporter asked him what he meant by that.  He responded (my paraphrase), "The UN is really great at humanitarian aid."  

I've become wary of trying to tag current events with specific Biblical prophecies (case in point: the book titled 88 Reasons Why Christ Will Return in 1988.  Need I say more?).  But one prophecy I do feel confident in is the one that says that the Gospel will be preached to all nations before the end will come (don't remember the exact quote   ).  If this current event opens the door for the Gospel to be preached in the Middle East, then it will bring us closer to that glorious day Jesus returns!

I pray for the children of Ishmael to return to the God of Ishmael's father Abraham!
