I honestly think that God has proven Himself.

Well, the thing is I believe the "modern atheism" or secularism or whatever you want to call it is a direct result of the moral depravity. Of course if I would've practiced an abortion, I would be "an atheist" too because it would be a pretty silly thing to believe in something that condemns me so it's really a no-brainer.

Besides, I don't believe in Luther's "personal interpretation" of the scriptures so I know people will be judged according to their good or evil hearts and this necessarily means that if a "proclaimed atheist" does good in life and defeats the evil in it he'll be saved so, like I said, I don't worry too much about if a person "believes on an intellectual level" in God or doesn't. I care mostly about the objective parameters of salvation.

You are promoting a works for salvation doctrine that is totally a false doctrine and those you speak of will only get saved one way and that's thru Jesus Christ. The only thing there good works will get them is a pat on the back from men.

isnt this going against what you have said prior???

telling us that we are doomed to hell for speaking against Mary as being deity? but yet saying if our heart is right but we dont believe in Jesus we can be saved?

sounds abit backwards... a bit contradictory.....

the Bible tells us that we can not be saved by our own works because that would allow us to booste that we can do it on our own....... and if that was the case, then the Lord Jesus coming to earth as a man, and going thru what He went thru is all totally useless........ and if that is the case, then you have just called God a liar......cause we are told that we can not see the Father except thru the Son...... which is Jesus.........

Mike: for the 194,744,739,948,345 time, Mary (the perpetual virgin) IS NOT a deity !.

My wish for 2004 is that these kids won't be as stubborn as they were in 2003 .

Mary had eleven kids with her husband Joseph after she had her first born son, Jesus. It even says in the bible that Jesus' brother's were jealous of him as they grew up together... he was obviously a different kind of kid.

so, mary was only a virgin regarding Jesus' birth, not perpetual. unless your saying that God was the father of all her other kids too.

"""""""""""That's not true. Jesus is in every neighbor of us (Matt 25:40) so every time you are good or bad to someone else, you are being good or bad to Jesus Himself."""""""""""""

sorry, you are miss informed..... for Jesus and satan can not exist in the same house.......

if a person does not have Jesus, then they have satan, that means, that until they invite Jesus to reside in them, to dwell in them to live in them to exist in them, to guard over them they do not have Jesus, and satan rules that house......

it dont matter how "good" a person is, if they have not taken Jesus as their Personal Lord and Savior, they have satan living in them......

So what youa are saying is a rapist or murderer can get into heaven just be taking Jesus as his savior. All he has done was evil things, but he will still get into heaven, yet every atheist/agnostic/Jew/Muslim/Buddhist/ect. will go to hell even if they life a life where they help people and don't do anything wrong, only good deeds. Sound fair? I think not. You god is sadistic. Mobile21's god is caring.

This is another reason I am an atheist, no one can agree on one interpretation, there are so many, and that goes for all religions.

Fovezer

If I can interupt for one second and just say hello to you Fovezer. Glad to see you are doing well and still hanging around. Don't be too hard on us when we don't agree. We are all limited in our knowledge and understanding of God's Word (and everything else). Regardless, just wanted to say hello and wish you well.

Sagz ---

Congratualtions brother! You didn't even announce it, huh? I have been married for 25 years and I can only testify that it gets better with each passing day. Maybe the kids leaving home has something to do with that? Just kidding (maybe).

God Bless you both,

Wayne

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
