Fovezer

If I can interupt for one second and just say hello to you Fovezer.  Glad to see you are doing well and still hanging around.  Don't be too hard on us when we don't agree.  We are all limited in our knowledge and understanding of God's Word (and everything else).  Regardless, just wanted to say hello and wish you well.

Hello, Saved By Grace!!

I am not trying to be harsh, just trying to point it out that no one can agree on one interpretation.

It is good to see you have finally decided to show your face  It has been a while.

"""""""""""That's not true. Jesus is in every neighbor of us (Matt 25:40) so every time you are good or bad to someone else, you are being good or bad to Jesus Himself."""""""""""""

sorry, you are miss informed..... for Jesus and satan can not exist in the same house.......

if a person does not have Jesus, then they have satan, that means, that until they invite Jesus to reside in them, to dwell in them to live in them to exist in them, to guard over them they do not have Jesus, and satan rules that house......

it dont matter how "good" a person is, if they have not taken Jesus as their Personal Lord and Savior, they have satan living in them......

mike

It's true one person can't serve "two masters" but you interpret it like it's an absolute here on Earth when the truth is that's not so. As long as people are alive in here, there's the possibility of good and evil in everybody. Only after we died is that we become absolutely good or absolutely evil.

And one more thing: it doesn't matter if the people we deal with is personally good or bad, the thing that matters is how we treat others despite of their personal holiness. Remeber that Jesus Christ warned us that the sinners also love their friends (Lk 6:32).

So what youa are saying is a rapist or murderer can get into heaven just be taking Jesus as his savior. All he has done was evil things, but he will still get into heaven, yet every atheist/agnostic/Jew/Muslim/Buddhist/ect. will go to hell even if they life a life where they help people and don't do anything wrong, only good deeds. Sound fair? I think not. You god is sadistic. Mobile21's god is caring.

This is another reason I am an atheist, no one can agree on one interpretation, there are so many, and that goes for all religions.

When you criticize Mike Irish's assertion you are proposing a moral judgment right?. You can know that moral judgement comes from your conscience and not from your personal cosmology because in the world is a very common for evil to be rewarded while good is not and it's because of that conscience God gives to every human that we have the obligation to seek the truth.

It's because we are created for the truth that we make so many assumptions of the world and that we can constantly change our perception of reality.

If you can tell good from evil (like you proved you can) then that makes you a capable, responsible human being and that necessarily means that you can't share the blame with someone else; not because Mire Irish doesn't have the complete truth means that every other human being has the right to not carry on with that responsibility.

At the last day, God will hold us accountable for every single thing and that's not up to us, but what is up to us is to make the right choices and to be sure that what we choose is the right thing.

It is good to see you have finally decided to show your face  It has been a while.

I have been busy on other threads but I have remained in the shadows on these. :D I'm looking forward to seeing where you and Sagz go once you start back up with your discussions. I suspect, though, he is busy now that he has a new boss and all. He may not have as much free time on his hands.

Like I told you weeks ago, I found the Truth in places other than science, philosophy, and so forth. Therefore, I'm not much help with the search for God's Truth by looking at science only. Regardless, I do enjoy y'alls discussion.

Be well friend...and know that I care,

Mobile, you do need to read the Word, for yourself.

you see, it dont matter what your past is like, when a murderer, repents of murder, and accepts Jesus as their Lord and Savior, they are cleansed of that sin, and will be more like Jesus...... if a rapist is repentant, and turns toward Christ, the same thing..... even thou they may still be charged, tryed and convicted here on this earth, and have to serve their time for the crime, they are cleansed of their sins........ Christ Jesus is the ONLY way a person can be cleansed of their sins... and the only way a person will enter the Kingdom is thru the Son.......

if a person comes to know Jesus, when they are a child, or a teenager, or a young adult, or middle aged or even late in their years, it dont matter, they will be allowed to enter the Kingdom if they have Jesus..... if they do not, they will not be allowed admittance into the Kingdom ., no matter what good they have done, with out the Son they will not see the Father.... ..... it is written as such...... read it for your self.... search it out.... you claim i do not have the truth, you best be looking to ensure what you are speaking about, for it is written in the Bible.....

I have no trouble with someone believing in God, that is your belief, and I have nothing against that, and I respect that, but it is when people insist on going against science, manipulating words, and insisting that their interpretation is the right one that bugs me.

Hope to see you around!

I never said that sins are never forgiven. Once you confess your sins, they are forgiven indeed. The thing is that you interpret the forgiveness of the sins as a "blank check" for life when that is not so.

And you aren't insisting that we believe your anti-scientic views as the ONLY possibility?  Sorry, there is such a thing as absolute truth.  If I insist the sky is blue, that is the only possibility!  How much more when I know that God in Heaven sits upon His throne reigning?  If you can flippantly disregard what nature itself teaches you about God, no one here can change that.  However, we were born with a desire to worship and I tend to think that rather than being here to keep up a continous argument, you are probably here in search of the truth.

How is evolution anti-scientific? The whole scientific community accepts it. Are you saying they are all wrong? I am not saying that it is the only possibility, I am saying it is the only fact-based and fact-supported possibility.

There are no absolutes in this world. Nature teaches nothing about god, but shows how evolution worked.

Born with a desire to worship?!?! What are you talking about? I have absolutely zero desire to worship. Everyone is born an atheist, religious beliefs are usually pounded into a persons head from birth.

Oh, yeah, let's see. Evolution makes SO MUCH SENSE! Ya know, the other night, a tornado came through. I had some old tires in the back along with some scrap metal and when the tornado came through, it made all of that into a nice, big Rolls-Royce! Really, it did!!! That makes as much sense as saying I "evoluted" from some smaller creature. Nature DOES NOT teach evolution, but teaches the handiwork of Yahweh God.

So let's see, if all scientists conclude that jumping off of bridges is healthy, will you jump off the bridge? There are many scientists, who after examining the facts, have concluded that evolution is not scientific!

No, no one is born atheist. So, exactly how did the world begin? Big bang? How did the gasses for the "bang" get there in the first place? How can something on a physical level be created from nothing? Doesn't happen!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
