I'm getting sick and tired of unbelievers coming onto these boards and insulting my brothers and sisters. I'm okay when it's directed towards me because I can take care of myself. When it's directed towards my brothers and sisters is what really burns me up. Yet, day after day, it's allowed. Why? When do you draw the line? If it's got nothing to do with the topic, and it's a purely personal attack, why is no one doing anything about it? The posts stay up, and no one says anything to these people, even the ones who've come right out and either said they're here to try and convince people Christ isn't real, or that they're only here for fun. The Great Commission is something we should all take very seriously and we never know when we'll say something that will plant a seed which will sprout only years later, but like I asked earlier, where is the line drawn? I know I'm just a guest here like everyone else, and I have no right to question anyone's actions who are in authority, but maybe when I first came here I was looking through rose-colored glasses, because it wasn't like this when I first came here only a few months ago. At least it didn't seem as bad as it's gotten, not bad, just so much ugliness being tolerated.

Forgive me and delete this, mods, if it's innapropriate. I know I'm still just as much a sinner as any unbeliever who comes her, I've just be forgiven.

I agree with you Sister! Unfortunately it is not just unbelivers, although they do 90% of the insulting.

Seems that basic common curtesy has gone out the window in this "new, enlightened" age we live in. It is pretty bad when we have unbelivers with more rights to post what they want to say than the christians who this board is for. I am glad you said your piece here as I was going to keep silent and just walk away from worthy.

There is a line of distinction between unbelivers who are here to discuss and listen to the word of God with the possibility of accepting, but those unbelivers who are on this board to disparage, insult, and critisize and are in no way open to hearing the Word of God really have too much leeway, and to a degree control of a "Christian" BB.

If I am stepping on any toes here, forgive me, but thats really too bad. I dont care if I stepped on toes or not. There are many who are not interested in the Word, but in creating controversy only.

hey, though it's hard it's a test, can you love them? Sometimes we are challanged to live up to "do not be overcomed with evil, but overcome evil with good" I understand what your saying and I agree, the more reason to overcome it with love, and what is good. Pray for them.

I was actually thinking more along the lines of staying out of the Outer Court from now on. I've met some unbelievers here who I'm now friends with and even exchange emails with. I'd really miss the interaction on the boards with these people, and also the possibility of making more of these types of friends, but it's just getting to be too much.

I do love them and pray for them. That's not the point. How many times would you stand by your friend and let someone insult them before you'd grab your friend's arm and leave?

Yeah, I know.

But it wasn't fair of me to say nobody does anything. I particularly see Dave asking people to keep it civil or deleting some insulting posts. I'm sure all mods do this. I don't know. Maybe there's something wrong with me. Maybe God hasn't brought me to a place where I can keep my emotions out of it.

Billie I can deal with the insults from people who do not know any better ...I just think of them the way I think of a rebellious three year old, shouting to the moon because they dont understand...the only way is to love and to keep being polite to them UNLESS they post porn or something so bad that it can affect other less secure Christians. What hurts more is our sisters and brothers who "take out " their frustrations on others with no real cause ..they should know better and although we all have bad days we do not have to post during those "bad feeling" times. ( maybe we should have a I have to shout and blame other people thread ?) So .....

If I have ..AT ANY TIME hurt the feelings of anyone here I am really sorry and would like to ask you to forgive me :o

But, LadyP.....

You hurt my feelings every time you kick me out of the lastness thread!

My mother always told me that I could get anything I wanted, just so long as I made enough noise about it!^_^:)

:24::24::24: Only joking!

But you make a good point, though :o

(there I go again, derailing topics!)

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
