My Lord and my God, Jesus Christ can do anything He so pleases. If He chooses to not be informed of something and lets His Father take control of it, then it is within His power to do so! You are choking on little things here, chris.

Then your polytheistic because you have 2 deities not one. Either God is Jesus and vice versa or God is NOT Jesus...there is no other option

like I said mutually exclusive.

Dont mock logic it makes more sense than what you are saying.

its not the "small things" when this proves or disporves the ENTIRITY of your monotheistic belief system...

The facts are before us! Jesus is God. Jesus doesn't know when God the Father wants to send Him back. So, logic tells me that I need to trust by faith, and understand that the relationship Jesus and His Father has is so precious, that Jesus remains an obedient Son even now after He has ascended to Him.

What a wonderful Jesus!!!

No just one deity, in a trinity, or a better word for it, Tri-unity, There's God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, all 3 are the same God, and all three are one.

Chris, is logic your GOD?

Is it logical not to mock logic yet logical to mock God?

Yes, just like other triple deities in mythology - three separate aspects, three separate deities, that are also one deity and one aspect.

Dear secondeve

There has never been a God like "The God"

Does He love you or what!

For God so loved secondeve, that He gave His only begotten Son, that should secondeve believe in Him she will not perish, but she'll have everlasting life!

Happy Valentimes Day!

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

Calvary! Inspired and excuted by The Triune God for the salvation of mankind and executed by Him out of an incomprehensible love for those who hate Him!

Yes your right the facts are before us. If God is Jesus and Jesus is God then they are one being sharing one CONSCIOUSNESS and therefore ANYTHING one knows, the other knows as well. If you separate them IN ANY WAY they become two beings instead of one.

Trust by faith when one thing says yes and another says no? that makes no sense what-so-ever. I dont care if I know, but since the Bible says Jesus does not know, then in another part it says Jesus is the one who knows (in reference to scriptures that say Jesus is God) and God knows this is an mutually exclusive situation. both of these statements cannot be true. It matters not how limited ones mind is anyone can understand the idea of the impossibility of two things that cannot happen within the same parameters.

for example fire and water cannot occupy the same space. Either the fire is bigger and the water evaporates or the water squelches the fire.

Now someone out there is gonna say "well what about when oil catches fire on top of water".

Well you have edited the equation. and have added a variable. Now fire and water are not acting in the same parameters because the OIL is on fire, not the WATER!!!!!

likewise: Jesus cannot be God if God knows something Jesus does not and if Jesus is God, then there is nothing God knows that Jesus doesn't UNLESS we add something to the equation and change the parameters like changing Christianity from a monotheistic religion to a polytheistic religion.

If you really believe God knows something Jesus does not then you are polytheistic as you have separated the entities "God" and "Jesus" from one another by separating their knowledge and consequently their CONSCIOUSNESS. if you say they do not share a consciousness, then they can't be on being and only proves you are polytheistic not monotheistic.

fresnojoe: logic is not my God, but I am also not mocking God. I am seeing a contradiction in the Bible. The Bible is not perfect. I know many christians that will admit this.

Now can anyone address me logically?

There is none so blind as those who will not see.

2 Corinthians 4:4

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

John 9:39

Jesus then said, "I came into the world to bring everything into the clear light of day, making all the distinctions clear, so that those who have never seen will see, and those who have made a great pretense of seeing will be exposed as blind."

hey I'm only calling it by how I see it. The explanations I have gotten so far are illogical and therefore hold no water. If someone explained it logically I would throw down my "arms" and admit I was wrong. However, no one has been able to do so yet. misunderstanding is different from an ignorant trouble making perspective. Please do not accuse me of the latter.

I do believe that the thousands upon thousands of people who witnessed Jesus' miracles didn't appeal to logic. They witnessed His power. We still do. He still heals and delivers and saves and changes lives today. He hasn't changed. You need to relinquish your demands for logic and accept Jesus Christ by faith as millions of others have done. You don't disengage the brain to know God, but you do put a stopper in your spiritual ears wherein Satan whispers, "Get proof, get proof!"

No way and I can prove it!! (irony?) Changing who I am, the person GOD HIMSELF saw fit to create to worship God. Bull.

Thomas after Christs crucifiction wanted PROOF That it was Jesus in the flesh!!!! A DISCIPLE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!!! Jesus then said something to the effect of blessed are those who need not see or touch and yet still believe. He made his point that you dont have to see to believe, BUT he did not begrudge Thomas, on the contrary he accepted him since it was Thomas' nature to ask questions and want proof.

In sunday school I was always compared to Thomas by the more open minded pastor which did not sit well with the fundamental baptist sunday school teacher. She always thought asking questions was wrong, everyone should just believe because faith was blind and thats all anyone needed and anyone who asked questions was a trouble maker. You, floatingaxe now sound similar to her, so I remind you of Thomas who Jesus accepted with open arms.

I am not being pigheaded or unfair.

Worship the Lord with our heart, soul, and MIND. my mind requires me to think and ask questions, NOT blindly believe. That is not my nature

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
