There are lots of opinions that are given by some to doubt the bible, the existance of God, and the final judgement of all mankind, and though there are some that sincerely want to know the truth, there are others that are striving to win the argument only.

If after dying (most will agree that death is coming eventually to all) you are suddenly aware that you have continued to exist in some form, you are in an entirely different environment, and you find yourself under arrest for the crime of unbelief and other sins that have not been addressed, is it too late for you?

If you should find yourself brought before the Judge, and search was made of all aspects of your life, would things go well for you?

Would you be in shock to learn that the Judge Himself already PAID for your crimes, and you refused the pardon based on your own opinions, so are now left to answer for yourself?

Would you be in shock to learn that the Judge owned everything and tried to adopt you so that you might have an inheritance in Him, but you refused him, would you be sad to learn that was fact and not just an old argument from back when you were alive?

Amen - see my signature. Joke: A group of scientists succeeded in creating life in a test tube - all excited they went outside held up the tube and said - God, if you are there we don't need you anymore we created life from dirt. A booming voice came forth and replied, Get your own dirt"!java script:add_smilie(":emot-questioned:","smid_8")

The gospel is the plan of adoption by God of who so ever will, He is Almighty, but He gave us free will to chose or to refuse. His power and ability are NOT in question.

God is not willing that any perish. His will does not always get done. As a result, Jesus taught us to pray, "Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, Thy kingdon come, THY WILL BE DONE, on earth, as it is in heaven..."

We would not have to pray for His will to be done here on earth if it always is done anyway.

Blessings also to you, truster (that is a good nic :emot-questioned: )

So are you asking athiests to just believe so they can go to heaven? This is dangerous. Its like when a young beautiful woman marries a really old rich guy. She goes through the few years of hell just to get the money in the end. Sounds a bit selfish... and whats the Christian doctrine? Humility!! The question is who you do it for and can any of you actually say you do it for anyone but yourself? Really think about it. Would you worship God if he said that you wouldn't go to heaven, you would just cease to exist? I honestly don't think so. If Jesus said "Take up your cross" and then said, but even if you do, you will die all the same and just be one with the dirt. So now ask yourself this: Would I still love God and worship him if he didn't benefit me in some way?

Yesterday you wrote that you no longer believed in Him, Systemstrike. Faith is not a social service; it is what you make of it.

You're right, I don't believe in him. I was just questioning why you believed in him. Is it for a selfish reason? I don't expect to get an honest answer. You need to think about this. Was religion invented for the purpose of our self preservation? Deep within our hearts, all we really want is to live forever. Well, we can't do that. So let us hope for a heaven when we die. But wait! Now people are doing whatever they please because they know they are destined for utopia! This is bad news! Lets put some rules down, shall we? Be good=go to heaven. Be bad=suffer eternally! Infinite punishment for a finite crime. Just indeed...

This argument paint theism in a very bad light. "Join us, OR ELSE!!" is not an attempt to convince someone, it's an appeal to fear and seems very anti-christian to me. In the past people had to take those kind of threats seriously, e.g. Galileo, but nowadays they're just laughed at. Besides, don't you want to stay away from the tactics used by the Inquisition?

I'm reminded of the story of the old Russian women who lived many years in life with Christ. Her extreme age and many works of charity sparked an human interest story withthe local newspaper. the young reporter after asking her several questions about her life finally asked the question, "What if, when you die, you discover that everything that you believe in is wrong?" Her reply, "Well if I find that everything that I believe in is wrong then you and I are in the same boat, but if I find that everything I believe in I find to be true, then you are ina lot of trouble."

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
