Be careful my friend, you know that the religious leaders of that day accused Jesus of casting out demons in the name of satan. God will judge Hinn not us. I know people intimately who have been healed in his meetings. God is The Healer, and healing comes from faith in Jesus to heal. It has nothing to do with Benny, all he does is act as a channell.

Right on, Gary!!! I am still awaiting His Son and Olive Oil, et.al., to come back and defend Hinn against the Scripture I quoted. Amazingly, they don't seem very willing to come back to defend their claims, now do they?

Go ahead and look up the scripture God rains on the just, and the unjust. That means whoever believes in Jesus Christ they may have some blessings from God, even if they are not the just, who know, and do all His will. The Holy Spirit I believe is in Him to a certain degree, but then He also has opened himself up for evil spirits, when, and if the healing happens, sometimes by the Holy Spirit this happens for Him, and other times He is lead by evil which leads Him into falsehood.

I do not believe that anyone who has the Spirit of life can pe posessed by anything other than the Spirit of life. Therefore, either Hinn has the Spirit and is seriously misled, or he does not and he is a false prophet.

Do you remember the scripture which says those who speak they word of God, God will give the Spirit without measure. That means they will always have The Holy Spirit, satan will have no part in them. So if satan still has a part in them, they are false prophets, but when they are being moved by The Spirit of God, at that time, they have the Holy Spirit, do you see, and recognize the scripture which says, Jesus Christ is Lord, and whoever says, that can say that only by The Holy Spirit, now some say that, and then sin, now we know The Holy Spirit does not sin, we know people do, so when the person sins they do not have The Holy Spirit, but when the person does something that is right they have The Holy Spirit. A true Prophet is a true teacher, and miracle worker, so because Benny does not teach truly in different ways, He is not a true prophet, yet at times God may bless him, with gifts, to love, and help others.

That sounds very humanistic to me. Do you have Scriptures that provide concrete examples of what you are saying?

In Acts the seven sons of Sceva took the name of the Lord in order to cast out demons (Acts 19:13-16). They said, "I adjure you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches." Yet the demon replied, "Jesus I know, and with Paul I am aquainted, but who are you?" Then the posessed man proceded to tear them to shreds.

Now, if your argument were correct, then these men should have been able to cast out the demon.

I remember Benny Hinn's wife talking about a Holy Ghost suppository and him talk about getting out the Holy Ghost shot gun and shooting someone Chuck Swindal who at the time was holding him to account for a prophecy he made that failed to happen.

Hinn's teachings have been FAR off-base for years. I believe that he even once taught that Adam could fly, using Ge. 1:26 as proof. He claimed that in order to have dominion over something you have to be able to do the same things. Therefore, Adam could fly, he could breath underwater, etc. etc.

Doctrines of demons, it sounds like...and for those who say we shouldn't judge, the bible says we SHOULD judge those within the church and judge "righteously".

I have a real serious problem when it becomes apparent that a person is becoming utterly absorbed by wealth to the point of Leer Jets and Multi Million Dollar mansions.

Years back I think TV Guide did some investigation to see what preachers were making the most money and had the fanciest houses.

Of them all, Pat Robertson had I believe a paltry salary of about 60,000/year and a very modest, middle class home. He had the "least" wealth of all the televangelists.

I believe the one with the greatest amount was...hmm...I think it was Benny Hinn or The Bakkers. I'm not positive on that though...
