Actualy, the messy would be pinned to sin. If God is real, and the bible is true, then yes it would be in a state of decay, once created perfect, but as sin entered the world, the world is in a constant state of entrophy.

Mainly because from what I've seen there is no middle ground, this question was brought up by be, and various members of worthy a while back, but the end result was, from an evolutionist perspective "science and God can't mix" from a creationist perspective, science is the study of Gods work" so the isn't too much of a middle ground, it's evolution, or creation.

Question: is science really science if it's examined with the assumption that a deity is responsible for the world? To be fair, the opposite is true, is it science to assume that there IS no god?

But scientists merely believe that science is about acquiring knowledge. After all, the root of the wod 'science' is from the Latin verb 'to know'. The problem is not that knowledge contradicts God, it's rather that knowledge contradicts the Bible's account ot creation, and some people start attacking knowledge and those who gain it, because they cannot accept that the Bible is not the fountain of all knowledge on Earth.

A theory is NOT A THEORY if nothing backs it up. I believe I've said this before. A hypothesis is a suggestion that could be a solution to a problem; a theory is a hypothesis with some degree of support. DON'T MESS THEM UP. So, when Adam and Eve started out, they had perfect eyesight, an appendix that did something, a jaw large enough for wisdom teeth, a back that was designed for upright walking? And then they had sex, and suddenly the nerves in their eyes disappeared to the other side of the retina, their jaw shrunk, their appendix shrivelled up, and their back was attached to their pelvis the wrong way?

Our bodies are perfectly designed! Any anomaly is the result of sin. I think it is the height of arrogance to rate anything that God does as faulty! Perfectly reasonable question in my humble view.

It appears to me that we spend far too much time on the defensive - why on earth should we keep answering questions that have been raised over millenia. This is our faith - we do not require proof and we have no need to defend ourselves.

If, after the Word has been put to them, and there are some that wilfully choose to follow the road to their destruction then so be it.

Maybe folks are simply working the soil?

Some farmers spend years working a field before seed is cast, taking root and producing a harvest.

Tress have to be cut, hard compacted earth has to be cultivated, bolders & stumps have to be removed...

Seed (the Word of God) doesn't take root if the soil hasn't been properly prepared.

Even then, some seed doesn't take root because it falls out of the good soil.

...but that's just my simple humble view.
