Broken girl, it can be VERY hard to differentiate from what is God's truth and what is satan trying to deceive us. It is part of our fallen sinful nature, it is something we ALL battle! Put your full trust in God! He loves you so much and desires to show you light and truth and a better way. Tell God that you have decided to trust him completely and ask him to show you what is light and truth, and continue to ask this of him and he will answer.

Could someone offer some advice?

My family told me jesus doesn't love lesbians...

I've realized I am one

I don't want jesus to hate me :)

In post# 2 you said,

That's not funny

I don't want God to hate me

Why does Jesus hate lesbians why?

I think your parents should have told you that the Lord hates the sin and not the person. I think that you have become confused in your role as a woman and have had your sexual desires perverted by the thinking going around in our society today instead of being versed in the word of God and what He says about things of this nature. God designed sex to be enjoyed between one man and one woman and nothing else. I think alot of young people can get what love and sex are confused you can love another of the same sex greatly but one does not share that love between the same sexes through being with them sexually for it is forbidden in the Bible. God created everything male and female and that is important.

You say you do not want Jesus to hate you and I believe that you are sincere in saying that. But you must know that Jesus does love you so much so that He died on a cruel cross for your sins and to set you free from the bondage of sin. I think you want to be accepted by God as you are currently now with your sins and God sent His Son to take them away. So if you want to be accepted in the beloved you have to turn away from this type of lifestyle because God loves you but not that type of lifestyle.

When it comes to Jesus He doesn't hate once again people as He came to die for the sins of manking and He layed down His life as a sacrifice for our sins that is anything but hate but it is all Love why He did it. But Jesus did shed His own blood on the cruel cross like I have already said and that was an awful price in which He paid for you and I wasn't it. If Jesus had an attitude I certainly could understand it after all He did for our sins to be washed away.

I think you really know in your heart of hearts that your sin is what is displeasing to our Lord Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father and you know as long as you are in that type of perverted lifestyle the Lord will not accept you and you want and desire to have that acceptance from God like we all do as we all have a void inside of us until we come to the Lord and ask forgiveness from our sins and the Lord cleanses us of our sins and takes the burden of sins away from us and then He fills up that void in ways we never thought He would as He makes us a new person so we can be the person He wants us to be and be accepted of Him because we cannot save ourselves from our sins that is why we need a Saviour. I just encourage you to take off the mask and let the Lord see you as you truly are and let Him take that sin away and out of your heart so that you will be accepted in the beloved family of God and be one of His children until then you are only fooling your ownself.

Interesting. It seems that now the OP is believing her family over God's truth. He doesn't hate you, Brokengrrl, or lesbians--just the bahaviour, which makes Him sad and angry.

I wasn't saying anything about lust in animals.

Why is every homosexual reference I make assumed to be lust?

Animals are God's creatures too

I came here to get comfort, guess I was wrong.

Maybe I wanted to see if there's such a thing as an open minded christian, other than myself.

Guess I was wrong.

Broken, by your own admission there is something wrong. You are broken... you want comfort, you want to see if there is an open minded Christian here. We are open-minded enough to see you through this, but not to compromise on the word of God. Can I ask you, what does love mean to you.. do you see the love that we are extending toward you in this?

In His Grip,

Bethany

Well I think I have plenty of spiritual maturity thanks.

I have prayed and all that.

The only problem I'm having is wondering why my family and every other christian I meet tries to convince me I'm doing something wrong.

In fact I prayed again last night and I feel like I'm okay in the whole lesbian relationship thing now. But why is it that people try so hard to convince me it's wrong?

Honey, have you READ what the Bible says about these things? If you're feeling at peace about being in a Lesbian relationship, I'm sorry to say that peace isn't coming from God. Why? Because He NEVER goes against His Word. His Word says:

"Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion."

Romans 1:26-27

If you claim to have spiritual maturity, you should back it up with a desire to REALLY know what God says about these things. It DOESN'T feel good to hear this, I know, and it probably does feel good to just carry on as you are, without making this necessary change in your life...but just because something FEELS good doesn't make it right.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
