Welcome sweetie. I'm Colleen. I have asked the same questions you are asking right now. My husband died June 25th last year while I was pregnant. But God kept me calm all the way through it. At the time I just couldn't understand why I had miscarried 2 times then been able to carry this baby and lose him. Well I now have a beautiful 7 month old daughter (her pics are on my myspace which is linked in my signature). Also God has sent a very loving man my way, and we are planning to be married soon. I know that he completed his ministry here and it was time for him to go. I just didn't understand why at only age 36. Currently I am watching a girl I used to babysit who has had brain cancer since she was 16 (she is 21 now). They sent her home about 6 weeks ago with only 2 weeks to live, and she is trying to fit in as much in life as she possibly can before her time is up. We live only as long as it takes to complete what God has brought us here to do. If it is only to touch one life then so be it. I know my children I lost before they were even born are waiting for me when I complete my duties here on earth. You will like it here hun. Many good people who love the Lord post here. WELCOME!!!!!

Hey thanks for responding...anyways well i get what ur saying u have a pretty good point but what about kids who grow up with a bad life and end up being abused and when they grow up they do the same to there children or they just end up homless why doesnt god just go ahead and take them!!! if he knows its to hard for them wouldnt he help them or do they just have to go to church and ask for forgivness and stuff...by the way i dont plan to have any kids rite now and i dont plan to until when ever i was just wondering! :b:

That's a good question you asked and the Scriptures has the answer. In John 10:10, Jesus says "The thief cometh not but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly" (KJV, emphasis added). Jesus Himself is showing that the taking of innocent life is not of His doing, yet in our grief (where we just HAVE to blame somebody) we blame God for these tragic accidents and illnesses that rob us of our children before they have really had a chance to grow up and contribute to this world.

One of the meanest deceptions that Satan has concocted is the deception that when bad things happen to good people, it's God's fault. If Satan can get us to blame God for his deeds, then we will turn our wrath away from him and onto God, which will, in turn, cause many souls who would have come to God through the young life taken and through the testimony of those who are grieving to turn their backs on God. Many a soul has been led away from God because of this particularly wicked deception.

Let's get it straight from the Son of God Himself. the devil has come to do nothing but to steal, to kill and to destroy. So when a life is killed before it has a chance to bloom, it's not God's fault, for He came to give life and that more abundantly.

Also, in the Book of Revelations is the following "And God shall wipe away tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away" (Revelation 21:4, KJV)

All the things mentioned in Rev. 21:4 that are not in Heaven is what Satan does on this earth. It is the devil who steals, kills, and destroys, not God. We need to place the blame where it belongs, on the devil and not on God. So, why does not God stop these terrible things of Satan from occurring? To do so would possibly violate the free will God has given to every human being. There might be other ramifications that only God knows about in the lives of those afffected down the road.

This also answers the question of why some bad people seem to lead charmed lives. Should God take out these apparent scumbags in order to protect the innocent and His children down the road, He would be denying those very scumbags the saving grace God offers through His Son. Jesus came to give life and that more abundantly, not arbitrarily take life to protect someone down the road. Remember, no matter how unlovely a person is, God still loves them and gave His son to die for their sins, just as He did for the children born into His family when they accept Jesus as their Savior.

Let's start putting the blame for who is doing what on the right person. Satan is here only to steal, kill, and destroy. It is God who gives life and that more abundantly. I'm really glad that at the tender age of 14, you are raising such questions. You will always find the answers to questions such as these in God's Word.

Hi! You are a wise child to be 14 and seeking answers so you can understand an Awesome God that He is. God doesn't allow bad thing to happen. It's just like when you are walking along beside and child and he falls, did you allow it to happen? No, but you were there to comfort him, cry when he cried and rejoice when he felt better. The same with God, He will be there to pick up the peices when you need him. God bless you

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
