What do I think of men?

The one I love completes me. He's my lover, my best friend, my playmate, my very heart and soul. He looks deep into me and sees what bothers me. Then he lovingly corrects me and calms my fears. He tries to show he loves me in every way and tells me that he loves me all through the day. He makes me feel cherished, loved, looked after and protected.

The one I love is the pinnacle of romance and male chivalry. He sets me on a pedastal and keeps me there. Always building me up, encouraging me. He is my knight. The one my heart longs for. I would not be complete without him.

God made woman for the man. To be his helper. I hope that I am his helpmeet. I long to be a Proverbs 31 woman for him. It is my priveledge, my hearts desire to be the source for his encouragement, his strength, and his fulfillment. To be the object of his affection. To tantelize his senses. To fulfill his every desire. To be his for a life time would not be long enough.

I read a couple of posts that said that men are good for fixing things. While this is true, what kind of wife would I be if I was not in the middle of it helping him? Handing him tools? Keeping him company? I long to be with mine in whatever he does.

and why is it necessary for them to scratch their property in public....i DONT wanna see that!

Cause it itches. Why else would you scratch something.

the key part was IN PUBLIC.

Well as i don't make a broadway play out of adjusting for all to see I really can't tell you why some do it. I do know that there are times where the pain overides any fear of public display.

Yikes man! TMI...

I don't know if I have a single idea in my mind about Christian men...I've known many and sundry.

Some are very dear friends to me, and have a fierceness to their loyalty I never see in women.

Some are unpredictable in everything but their love for God.

Some are intensely aware of how things look from their (male) perspective...but are so caught up in it that they forget how things might look from a female's perspective.

Some are proud.

Some are humble.

Some are shy and have no idea how to approach a woman (but once they figure that out, you won't find a man who has more respect for his woman)

Some are definitely NOT shy but put their feet in their mouths so often you wish they were.

So many differences...

this is what i think of men....

President Coolidge of the United States was a man of few words. When he returned from church one Sunday, his wife asked him "What did the pastor preach about?". He answered, "About sin". She asked again, "And what did he say?" Coolidge replied, "He's against it." - Taken from Victorious Faith by Richard Wurmbrand

What I think of men?

Well some of them can be uterly stupid. They are like boys who needs attention all the time.

Ok let me get serious here. I can't live without my hubby. He is everything to me. My best friend, lover, husband, priest of my house, a fantastic father who my kids adore. He's a romantic through and through, he phones me ten times a day just to say he loves me, he blow kisses while we are in other ppl's company. He's just everything. He always knows what's going inside of me. He forgave me the worst sin a woman can commit agaist her hubby (that was 15yrs ago). He loves God more than he loves me, which is the greatest.

And when I look at my father who passed away a week ago, I can just say, he was a man to God's heart. If I had to imagine a picture of the Father's heart, i see my dad. He lived for God, he lived a prophetic life and alsways helped ppl in need as far as he could. He was my role model for a husband. He loved my mom so much, they were like two in love teens up to his death. I think heaven rejoices cause my dad joined them.

This is a tough topic for me right now. My husband of 20 years just left and is having an affair. He wants a divorce so I am left with the devestation that he has created. We were going to be missionaries in Thailand but I guess he has decided to go another way.

But, I still have to believe that there are Godly men out there who love their God with their whole heart, who honour and love their wives and love their children as God intended. I thought mine was but he has changed...

So, I guess this is what I wonder.. are there men out there like that?

My husband of 31 years told me one day last week that I was his whole world. I was so moved by that, as it came out of nowhere and he usually doesn't speak like that! His actions show it every day, but when he says it, it blows me away!

Yes, there are men out there like that. I did nothing to deserve him, but I did ask the Lord for the man He wants for me. God picked him, not me...not me at all.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
