I'm hangin' in there...I have so much love for him and I believe it's God's pure love...it's very deep and enduring.

But he does drive me crazy sometimes....I can assure you, no body else could live with him. I really believe no one else could live with him. He's pretty impossible.

I have been given an extra measure of grace to love him and go the distance. It's a gift from God because I couldn't do it in my flesh.

:t: cat and :t: rose

I had a beautiful post and then my computer seized......rrrrrrrrr...oh well..

Ill try to think of what i was going to say ......

I can relate to you too cat........but our God is an all sufficient God and he will not give you more than you can handle ......God is in control and that is the best place that we can be....resting in His arms.....

We should take this topic into the womens section i bet wed get lots of responces.......

Anyways ....i think that God helps us to love those who hurt us ......its like you said.. in our flesh we are weak.......but with God all things are possible......

Seek~sorry about loosing all that work...I know how that feels. Yuck!

Truely with God all things are possible, and without Him we can do nothing!

I certainly would never have been able to endure (most women couldn't) what my husband put me through without God being involved.

Maybe we should take it into the womens section....could possibly help someone.

This is a big topic! I've wondered about this myself. As a matter of fact, I've probably been guilty (without realizing it) of it a time or two. Have you ever noticed that sometimes when you get a group of Christians together ,that they act alot like kindergardeners? We hurt each other with unkind words. We always wanna "tell teacher" (God) when someone else does something that we don't consiter to be Christian behavior. God sat me down on that one recently, someone in my life was treating me unfairly, and I was feeling sorry for myself about it, and thinking some pretty unkind things. Then I heard that still, small voice inside of me, as plain as day saying:" I told YOU to follow Me. You live according to My Word, stop worrying about how everyone else is treating you, and focus on how you are treating Me, and others." I gotta tell ya, that shut me up pretty fast. What do you say after that? As soon as I listened to God about this, it seemed really unimportant how I was being treated, and very very important to walk in the Light I've been given. This person started treating me like a human being again , as well. Now I have a new perspective on loving my neighbor, and being a servant. It's freeing to realize that I'm not responsible for the actions of others, their actions really don't affect me all that much. I'll only be judged for how I treat others, not for how they treat me! Thank You Lord!

Boy, you must be reading my mind! I was just posting something similar on another thread.

I totally agree...we are soooo quick to kill off and bury the wounded; if someone stumbles, we get a rope.

Geez, I know nobody wants to be "taken" but it is possible that anyone of us can be in error and need patient and loving counsil. We need compassion and caring.

I don't know why people are often so unkind...they just are. It shouldn't be that way and I sympathize with what you're experiencing.

cats~

Once you have been taken, you will see things differently.

Now, I can understand what Yeshua said about end times.

Quotes from Jesus -Yeshua ~

Take heed that no man deceive you.

For many shall come in my name saying, "I'm Christ" and shall deceive many.

Then shall many be OFFENDED and shall betray one another and shall hate one another.

Many false prophets shall rise & shall deceive many.

Because of iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

I am doing my best, not to take your comments, personally.

I am finding it hard to want to stay on this web site.

Being a freedom speaker isn't easy here on the Worthy Forums.

Snowdoove

But Snowdove, all things go through some form of death before they get renewed. Worthy Boards is only experiencing travail. And just wait till that new birth, Worthy Boards wide, appears. I mean, all Christians must continue to grow. It is sort of like going from one metamorphous to another, each new pair of wings more beautiful than the last.

just thought i would add a little something....

I was listening to a christian radio station and the speaker was talking about

why the devil and his demons attacks certain people....

I have to say that pricked my ears......he was saying that if we are walking close to the Lord that the evil one isnt far behind.....

anyways all of a sudden it dawned on me :bright:

We must be doing something right to be getting attacked so much ......

and what does the bible say about that one .....i thought

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake.......

so be happy in the times of attack cause you are on fire for God ...... :a:

You know that expression about there being no issues more devisive than religion and politics?

Well, that's one way to look at the issue.

Another way is that the Evil One doesn't want God's children unified, so he entices us to turn against one another. And it's so easy to do.

One poster got it right, I believe, in stating that we expect other Christians to be perfect. But when they aren't we get all bent out of shape about it. Likewise, we seem to have this belief that it is our job to convict the world of sin (newsflash - that's the job of the Holy Spirit!). We sure do get vicious when confronted with someone else's sin, don't we?

How wise the Scriptures tell us we need to "be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath."

Hazel - may we all learn your lesson!

Well spoken, River!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
