Once The Lord has hit you with the Truth, how can you walk away .....Is it that you are so young in your walk, and satan did a number., did the Lord not do a deep enough onion peel on you..I really feel " No Turning Back"......I just don't understand.....Also what seeds do you plant for someone such as this.....

One must always take heed less they fall. As long as we live in this world we will have danger. Does this mean we will fall, not necessarily. Remember pride is a dangerous sin and when we are walking close to God and still in this flesh it can take root. I think the good things that happen to us in the spirit can actually lead us to this kind of pride and arrogance.

If we think we can not possibly turn away, we better watch out. First we feel we have arrived and are right. Then we tend to isolate ourselves and before you know it, you don't even know God is not as close to you as He once was. It would be a very subtle thing.

God will never leave us nor forsake us. So if God is not near, who moved?  :a:

BE,

There have been times in my life when the Spirit has filled me to the uttermost. With such experiences I think, "I could never walk away from this.  I want to experience the Lord like this every day!"  But then I seems to never fail to dissapoint the Lord by falling in some way.

I think this is everyone's experience at one point or another.  Even Paul, whom we consider to be of the highest spiritual and moral character wrote, "Wrethced man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?" Paul recognized that even though he willed to do good, he still failed. The conclusion he had to come to was, "Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!..." He realized that evenb though he failed to serve the Lord in the flesh that he was nontheless able to serve God with his mind.  And that there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. (Romans 7 and 8 respectively).  So whether we are in the Spirit or not in the Spirit, whether we are high or we are low, there is a God who does not condemn.  Rather, the God we serve is able to justify us according to the blood of Jesus Christ, not according to our successes or our failures.

Amen and amen, for by grace I am saved!!  And nobody is able to ever snatch me out my Fathers hands.

For the unbelievers were and are still looking for signs, but Jesus said we are blessed if we believe and live by faith.

The Jews in the O.T. had lots of faith when they saw God doing mighty things on their behalf, the minute they were on their own they went back to idolatry.

So shall it also be when the Antichrist comes the Bible said ALL people will be decieved and believe he is God because of the miracles he will do.

God Bless,

Angels

I'm confused.  Is this topic about being slain in the Spirit, apostasy, or backsliding??

I got hit with the truth when I realized I needed Jesus in my life and that He would bring me to heaven some day if I repented of my sins and made Him Lord in my life!

And the Holy Spirit is convicting me all the time with the truth, like sin in my life ,He teaches me and guides me in all things He wants me to know.

He's always with me and He came to stay, even if I don't pay much attention to Him some times.

And as I said I have a God who is able to keep me until that day!

In Him forever..Angels

Wow!  This is really good stuff right here!  Yes the just shall live by FAITH!  Signs and wonders will be a deception in the end of days!  True faith should not need signs and wonders, it should survive without any signs and wonders.

Actually, Jesus said, signs should follow believers, not that believers should follow signs.  There is a difference you know.  No matter what kind of supernatural experiences a person has though, it won't keep him walking with the Lord.  Deepness of relationship is what keeps us in times of trouble and testing.  Dig your roots deep in His Word.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
