My goodness. What is this thread about again. :21:

Shalom,

It's about hair length and discussing hair length in a gracious way even if we disagree. :emot-highfive:

Mine is 6 cm long. :21:

You went to the trouble of actually measuring it LOL

You are up in Cananda so the measurements are different in the states could you convert that for us in inches?

2 1/4 inches...or thereabouts. :) I was just lying here with my laptop and my measuring tape was beside me. I am supposed to take my measurements for a woman who wants me to do some sizing for her catalogue business, and I am putting it off! I'd rather measure my hair, if you please! :21:

I actually have my hair long, below my shoulders.

I believe God wants it that way because my husband does. It would dishonor my head to cut my hair against my husband's wishes. :emot-highfive:

Here's just a few to chew on. So you can quit saying that no one ever called you on your false accusations.

QUOTE

My views were characterized in worse terms than that, but you refuse to acknowledge or address that.

False.

QUOTE

Of course, you refuse to acknowledge the lack of "grace and respect" in those actions...

false

QUOTE

since you obviously agree with their position to start with, which only shows the lack of objectivity you possess in this issue.

false

Why are they false? So far, you have completely ignored addressing specfically the charges leveled against by Butero and exrockstar that I am throwing out parts of the Bible, or that I am somehow choppingn up the Bible.

I have every reason to believe that you favor the position opposite mine, since you refuse to address the very things they did, which you now accuse me of. So far, in your book, they get a free pass. Furthermore, the article you posted lends to the belief that you stand with their position, which is fine, but at least be honest that everything thus far presented by you shows where you actually stand whether you admit to it outright or not. If any inaccurate conclusions are drawn, it is due to inaccurate, confusing signals emmitted by you.

so far, you have refused within any degree of specficity, addressed the lack of grace and respect I was handed by those like Butero, who claimed that I was out right wrong that my view on men's hair length is dangerous. He actually several choice words for my perspective that you failed to address with near the degree of specficifity with which you are accusing me.

QUOTE

but you even crossed the line by denigrating fellow believers by posting an article that equates long haired Christian men with being like decaying, rotting flesh.

false

You posted the article, AND the author equated Christian men wearing long hair with rotting flesh. There is nothing false about it. The author you posted was far, far, far, more ungracious towards my views than I have ever expressed at all in this thread. I have never said anything that comes even close to vitriol contained in that article.

QUOTE

When you visit your perfectionism on those who have falsely accused me, ...

name-calling

Sorry, that is not name calling. I am addressing your attitude and the posture in which you are posting towards me. I am also pointing out the doublestandard you operating under. I never called you a name.

QUOTE

Judging from Giaour's response, you were quite upset and even had her on "ignore" for a while as I recall her saying. Doesn't sound like you were not upset or offended.

outright lies

These are just the recent ones

Idid not lie at all. I saw what I saw, and you very offended at Giaour and refused to acknowledge her explanations and clarifications and according to her, you put her on ignore. Every attempt to explain to you that it is board ettiquette to shorten someone's name when addressing them was met with nothing but lack of grace and understanding from you. There is nothing false at all. You are just not willing to own up to the times YOU have been less than gracious.

I saw the exchange beteween you and Giaour and how upset you got about being called "vic" and you whined about how rudely you were being treated back then. . Please don't try and pretend it was anything other than what it was. I am neither lying nor presenting false information. It is just another example of your inability to deal with a debate environment.

Shalom Shiloh,

I pray the people reading can see how off-base your comments are.

You now want us to believe you are a mind-reader and you know what's going on in people's minds and hearts when you know nothing of the sort?

My Brother, I don't really care what you believe in your own mind. You don't have a clue what is in my heart. And the fact that you are insisting you know something you do not is another red flag of concern from accepting any sort of Biblical instruction from you. I am sorry, but your behavior tells me that you are not interested in truth and this is dangerous when young Christians are reading what you write.

Yes, you are lying and you are presenting false information. Unless you can PROVE your accusation, [which you cannot] you cannot post your false assumptions as fact. It's as simple as that. And Brother, lying is a sin. So is bearing false witness. This is very serious.

Shalom,

I had hair down to my waist before I had to have it cut because it was thinning. I still have the ponytail.

I am not judging your heart. Like I said, I am simply going off the exchange I read between you an Giaour. Nothing I have up to this point has been untrue.

Shalom,

And that is a lie. All that you have said concerning that exchange has been a lie. Accept it or not, that is the real truth from the only person who knows if I was offended - me. I was not and I am not. Now, if you wish to believe something else, that is your business. But, when you have been told the truth and you continue to post a lie, that becomes slander. Pray about it. Do you really want people to know how far you are going with this and continuing to lie when you;ve been told the truth? It's a little ridiculous.

I know that I cannot accept anything that you write now because I see how you treat the truth with disdain and would rather embrace and perpetuate a lie because it fits your will. Not G-d's will, but yours.

As I said before, believe what you wish, I truly don't care.

I will pray for you as I said and I pray the L-rd will speak to your heart about what you're doing here and why. It is between you and Him.,

G-d bless you.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
