The entire atheist worldview is inconsistent with itself. They claim that there is no God, but they cannot reason or act that way. You have to assume the uniformity of nature to even think and reason. 1+1 will always equal 2 and rock will always be hard. In the same way, cats will always give birth to cats, the law of gravity will always be in effect. They contradict themselves when they claim to believe in the big bang and evolution because of science, but yet they break almost every law of science. Christianity is the ONLY worldview that is completely consistent with itself.

Your interpretation of facts does not cause you to believe what you believe. In fact, it's the other way around.

Only fools will say that there is no God. As what is written in Psalms 53:1.......

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.

I see where you're going with this and I agree, but you should unpack it. :24:

That is, why do atheists live morally? I will always advocate that atheists are some of the most moral people in this world...they just can't explain why. In fact, often times their moral view contradicts their acceptance of naturalism.

I will begin with a question:

Is it POSSIBLE that there is no supernatural being? I'm not saying that is what you believe, I am asking if it is -possible- that you are incorrect?

Is it possible, FS, that you do not exist?

God exists. He is more alive then you are. He holds everything in the palm of His Hands. Nothing that is would be here without Him.

Very well.

Atheists think: "I only believe in what can be scientifically proven."

They reject the existence of God because they don't believe that God can be scientifically proven, but doing this turns them into hypocrites; they're left with "plausible" theories which cannot be proven and take faith to believe in. In this way, they become hypocrites.

If you keep asking an atheist why he or she rejects the existence of God, he/she will eventually say "because I think that's the way it is". With that statement, the atheist sets himself up as the ultimate authority and is too blind from his pride to recognize that his existence is entirely dependent on God.

Hmmm....I would contend that it is entirely possible that a highly intelligent gerble with opposable thumbs registered the name "FalseSyllogism" and joined Worthy and perhaps wants to argue that considering the possibility of a universe devoid of an intelligent being whom we call "God" means that he has an "open" mind. But then how could you absolutely prove me wrong?

I think one of the things about Believers that bugs/irks a non-Believer the most, is their claim to know with utmost certainty that G-d exists... this is especially true when they cannot necessarily argue as well as some non-Believers, or at times seem a bit gushing and over the top...the non-Believers often find it inconceivable that we can appear so arrogant, when they are so measured, thoughtful and reasonable in their reply...somewhat proud that they do not have such a closed mind.

For many of us that have come to a saving faith in Jesus the Messiah there is absolutely no possibility whatsoever that G-d does not exist...not because we have given assent to some religious creed, or we are too blind not to have considered other opinions by people far more intelligent and articulate....all of that is irrelevant in light of the fact that we have had a personal encounter with the Living G-d, that has changed our lives and our outlook on life forevermore.

One glance from the Master can dissolve all the arguments, questions, pride and pretence, and melt the hardest most cynical self sufficient heart. Jesus still looks at people today and simply blows them away by saying, 'FOLLOW ME.'

That was so beautifully written. Thank you for saying so perfectly what I was thinking.

There is no possibility that God/Jesus/Holy Spirit does not exist. And I'm so thankful that I have no doubt. Just to "know" the answer to this question is a gift.

Is it POSSIBLE that there is no supernatural being?

No. The evidence is overwhelming.

First, God gave us His creation as evidence so that mankind will have no excuse not to know that He exists:

"For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse." Romans 1:20

Secondly, God has given us His Word. His Word is truth, light, and holy in every way. It is inerrant, infallible, and contains everything mankind needs in order to know God, walk with Him, live this life, and enter eternal life.

Third, God has given us His Son, Jesus, who is the promised Messiah, the Christ. Jesus is the only begotten of the Father, the express image of God in the flesh, and very God of very God. Jesus proved His identity through His fulfillment of all prophecy concerning the Messiah, His miraculous birth, sinless life, miracles, and resurrection.

Fourth, God has given us His Holy Spirit, who indwells all believers, teaches us all things, guides us in all truth, speaks of Christ, convicts of sin, and more.

Fifth, God has given us His church, the body of Christ, the Bride of Christ, of which He is the head. His church and it's members know and follow Him, proclaim the gospel, baptize into the church, makes disciple, and is to be a light in the midst of darkness.

God has revealed Himself to mankind. Because of sin, man is born lost; that is, separated from fellowship with God. As a result, man is blind to the things of God and does not seek Him nor believe in Him as a natural condition. The penalty for sin is death and we are all guilty. Jesus paid that penalty on the cross with His own life in our place. Therefore, salvation is by grace. It is a supernatural work of the Holy Spirit resulting from God's calling of all men to Himself through the measure of faith that has been given to all mankind. Exercising that faith, man is called to repent and place their faith (for salvation) upon Jesus Christ (believe). As a result of trusting Jesus as Savior, we are forgiven of our sins, receive the gift of eternal life, and are indwelt by the Holy Spirit. Saved; born again; adopted as sons; made citizens of the Kingdom; names written in the Lamb's Book of Life; and so much more.

My friend...there is no possibility that there is no God. There is no possibility that there are many gods or many paths to heaven. There is one name under heaven by which men can be saved, and His name is the Name above all names, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ.

Blessings!

Danny

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
