If God couldn't forgive Judas for betraying Jesu

Recommended Posts

Judas was never saved. God knows what we will choose before we ever do and because blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is the unpardonable sin, once a person rejects truth they have made their decision and God blinds them. Look at Pharoah, Israel,--Judas. We either have Satan for a father or God, Judas rejected the love of God and in 2 Thess. it says that because they rejected the love of God He will give them strong delusion to believe a lie. God could have and would have forgiven Judas but he gave him a choice like all of us and Judas did not receive truth.

God knew he wouldn't and chose him to betray Jesus, still Judas made his own decision.

Amen Adstar--

judas was a servant of God, a desciple of Christ, who turned his back on the truth. who has the right to make the judgement of whether or not judas was ever saved? only God. and scripture does not indicate that judas was never saved. to the contrary, it indicates clearly that he was in servitude to the truth, and then walked away unrepentant. for that, he was not admitted into the kingdom of heaven.

Well, there's no indication that Judas actually ever repented.

He just let guilt take over and took his life.

Some actually say that Judas was granted entry into Heaven.  I don't personally believe it, but I had some Baptist friends who did.  They believed in OSAS and made the assumption that Judas was saved and said that he went to Heaven.  Well, we'll see, but I just don't figure on seeing Judas there!

Hi,

I really dont know the answer to this question but Judas in a way did repent. If you read in the bible it says that Judas took the money that was given him for betraying Jesus and gave it back. This is an act of repentance, but yet in his sorrow he hung himself. Judas was remorseful and repentive.

Judas was never really right to begin with. Judas had an ungodly lust for money and he would constantly steal from the money that was donated. Ultimilty his lust for money distoryed Judas by betraying Jesus for 30 Shekels. Do you see how if sin is not dealt with in the early stages that it will eventualy betray you.

God bless,

Lady C and Sister T,

The story is plain that Judas was an embezzler and a follower for monotary gain, God chose him form the foundation of the earth because he was the son of satan.

1 John 2:19 They went out from us,

but they didn't belong to us;

for if they had belonged to us,

they would have continued with us.

But they left, that they might be revealed that none of them belong to us.

Well, there's my proof text, where's yours?

Well, there's my proof text, where's yours?

come on wordsower, quote the entire passage, not what conveniently suits you.

18Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour. 19They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.

20But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.[4] 21I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth. 22Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist--he denies the Father and the Son. 23No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

that's talking about Judas? nowhere even in the previous text of that chapter does it even hint at judas. in fact, one of the pointed things said in the previous verses is in verses 7&8... feel free to look up the surrounding scriptures: Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command but an old one, which you have had since the beginning. This old command is the message you have heard. Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in him and you, because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining.

now, since you are unwilling to look up the passages that sisterT provided, i'll take the liberty of posting the entire text of the most absolutely clear, indisputable, irrefutable, scriptural passage regarding whether judas was saved or not.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
