Hi,

My thinking is that God knows how we can be tempted by the flesh, and He also expects us to call out to Him for help when we know things are not right.

2Pe 2:9 the Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment unto the day of judgment;

God has given us instruction as to what to do and how to do it.

Php 4:13 I can do all things in him that strengtheneth me.

I think to the more we call on Him the stronger our relationship gets and it changes too as our trust grows.

since James tells us that God does not tempt us, i believe that in praying this, i acknowledge to God both my agreement and my commitment not to go that way.

"And lead us not into temptation"?? .......What do you think is meant, when we ask God "not to lead us into temptation??

hears my take on the lords prayer and what it means to me

he wants us to be our selves and not like the hypocrites or the pharisees

matthew 6= 5 when you pray do not be like the hypocrites they like to stand in the synagogues and on the street corners to pray so that every one can see them i can guarante this truth that wil be there only reward

when you pray go to your room and close the door pray privatly to your father who is with you your father sees what you do in private and he wil reward you

i always be my self and go by these two points and even when i feel i am straying i cry out to him and tell him honestly that i am feeling this way why beat around the bush christ knows we are humen and he knows we wil face many things as he was there him self and i am sure he had to endure what most of us had to endure with look at his life look how he lived and look at what he taught i often wonderd how it would have been for him as hear is a strong man a wise man who new that most would come against him even being a man he would have dealt with urges and never having the experiance as other men of being near a women often he would go by him self and spend this time alone with his father even though he was the son of god he spent that time talking and communicating to his father

and comming to the question on leaders and pastors people need to step back and not put these guys on a pedastool by me saying this we need to see that they are humen and they need to hear that you take them as they are

our pastor hear knows he can talk to us guys and he talks openly and honestly with us this is the bond we have with our pastor he knows if he picks the ph up at 1 am or 2am we wil be hear for him and when he is talking with us guys he also alows us to be open and to be our selves and we often say this in church hear pastors are humen and if we start looking at this the way i have explained it the enemy wil have no say and wil not be able to attack the leaders or the pastors as it is those in the front line that get attacked the most we put to much pressure on our pastors and look at what happens satan sees a chance and bang he has them

this is the way we are hear in australia and i am not sure if this is what goes on in america

yet these men and women need to hear this from the body its so simple to point the finger once some one falls yet have we got the nerve to say we are hear for you you are not on your own ?

i read this thred before i put my 2 cents in my pastor said i can ring him any time of day or night or in the early hours of the morning we are very prottective not just over our pastor but over our leaders and often i am with my pastor as these guys enter situations many of us would not especialy domestics

so may be we need to look at this prayer in another way and be open to those around us and tell them that we are hear for them no matter how they are feeling and hold back the judgmetal attitude as its a humen part of us to do this and this needs to be naild to the cross

so i hope i have not gone of the track on what i have stated and you can understand what i am trying to share hear and what this means to me

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
