There is a logical issue with PC. Their key phrase is tolerance. In other words, you are supposed to accept people and their positions no matter what. The problem is that those who hold this position are themselves intolerant of those whom they say are intolerant.

oh yeah..I just got done learning about tolerance and intoloerance...but in reality, wouldn't we actually be the most tolerant people because we share the love of Christ with anyone despite their past or their actions...but because we stand up and say homosexuality is wrong then they label us intolerant..I am still learning..>I am not good with issues like this..so If I sound stupid...it is because I am concerning these issues... :emot-fail:

Being politically correct and spiritually correct are a challenge, and why we are counted as sheep for slaughter everyday. Granted we speak the word of God on our occasions to edify the Lord. And maybe sometimes we won't speak out, or at other times or other situations, because it isn't politically correct, or not worth the hassle.

Do we squelch the spirit at this? No.

Jam 3:2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same [is] a perfect man, [and] able also to bridle the whole body.

We are to bridle out speech as best we can, not to offend in our personal dealings with the Lord. He will then reward us openly for it.

PC in so far as it makes society more tolerant and empathetic is a good thing. However, in so far as it can get absurd and restrictive of free expression is a bad thing. The fact is, a lot of people who rail against "PC" are just bigots themselves who don't like getting pointed out for what they are. Just the same, some go way overboard with Political Correctness and act as though they simply spend their whole lives looking to be offended somehow.

Just the same, some go way overboard with Political Correctness and act as though they simply spend their whole lives looking to be offended somehow.

Why is tolerance of worldly things a good thing? Political correctness belongs to the post modernist world, it has no place in our lives as a Christian, we already have a perfect teacher in CHrist and The Bible to live our lives by, we do not need governments or political bodies and activists to tell us how we should be treating certain groups of people. Homosexuality has been brought up time and time again, some people have posted thier despair at the hypocrisies of the situation, Well It is hardly surprising is it and not exactly shocking..

It is quite simple, If you are saved, walking with God then you are for GOd, everyone else is against God and of Satan. It is hardly surprising that political correctness is going to come back and bite Christians and attack our values and faith as it isn't of God and is simply another tool of Satan.

Unfortunately we see many spiritually dead churches and religious people, those who go through motions of being a Christian but do not know the Lord personally, take so called politically correct laws and messages and embrace them as if they were teachings of Christ himself when they are infact the complete opposite.

Look at the horrors and blasphemy that is being committed within many churches, homosexuality is obvious, but there is also the politically correct teachings of religious tolerance which results in multi faith services. I read a shocking article from the Church of England paper Church Times from a woman priest who is encouraging people to embrace Islam and accept it as the teachings of Islam etc is not that different from Christianity etc... PC gone mad

Christians should stand up and take a stance against political correctness where ever possible, it is an evil that will be used to destroy the true Christian and promote false Christian teachings and wolves in sheep's clothings, just look at how many there are already, all spewing a putrid blasphemous PC rehtoric to their flocks.

For 2,000 years We have had Christ teachings and own way of life to learn by, we must not allow Christ and The Bible to be replaced by Satanic man made social laws and conduct called Political Correctness.

That right there is Post-Modernism and PC straight off! :24:

Political Correctness should be shot. ..In most cases.

In the UK at least (and maybe America I don't know) PC has helped in one way that we are able to proclaim our faith without too much bother becasue of the ideals that PCness and Post-Modernity have advocated. Other than that I flee from PC and just generally in my thinking and way of life, I'm definately NOT politically correct as my friends could probably tell you! :)

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
