I don't care to list her accomplishments. That was not the point and you know it. This was not a competition by me to see who's list was longer but rather it was me pointing out that you are being disingenuous in your attack on Hillary Clinton. I posted the link to the Senate website so that people could get actual, real information.

I believe that the reason hilary doesn't have any accomplishments in 6 1/2 years as being one of the most recognized and powerful women in the senate is because she wants to fly under the radar. She is very calculating. She does not do anything unless if benefits her and her goal of the power. As an example: She voted to invade Iraq. In my opinion she was counting on Bush winning the war or at least being able to solve the conflict there. That vote would have then separated herself from the dovish democrats and put herself in favor of the moderate independents and republicans. However, the war has not gone well, so now she claims she did not thoroughly read the war proposal and wants our troops out. She has to do this because the war has grown unpopular. She has to change her stand in order to have a chance to keep her liberal base. What I respect about Bush and most of the other candidates (democratic as well as republican) is that you know where they stand on the issues and they fight for what they believe in. She doesn't. She has not fought and used her influence in the senate as effectively as I believe she could have if she did not have ulterior motives. She fights for what the polls say people want and that, in my opinion, is the most untrustworthy person to seek the office of the president of the United States...

and kat, without bill and her blantant lies, she wouldn't be where she is now. My question is, would a Christian, who believes and fears God, lie to the degree she has?

I believe it goes deeper than that ted. If a candidate fights for what they believe in and runs a campaign on those principals and gets elected by the American people, then I believe God has blessed that person with authority. Hilary is one of the few that changes her position in order to maintain and pursue her goals. If she is doing this strictly to get elected, I don't believe God will bless her presidency. I also believe that God does not frown on our deliberating over the candidates because the system He blesses (I hope) is based on that introspection and discussion. Maybe we change from ice cream and go to the cake...

As far as ice cream goes, I prefer to lean on the conservative side, as to not get bogged down with the weighty issues.
