Your argueing with them only enforces the hopelessness that they already are dealing with 24/7.

All the other little christian cliches only make them sick. They HAVE tried to get help... MANY TIMES with no results..

Only those with an understanding of DID and have a heart for compassion ministry can truly help them..

Blessings, Karen

My intention was never to cause arguments or strife. I'm not entirely sure where this escalated from really, but I am sorry if I caused some offense somehow. Granted I haven't been through what some people have, but I never presumed to have knowledge nor 'all the answers' in that area. I have only ever spoken from what I do know and have been through myself.

But anyway I'm sorry if I did something to offend. It was never what I wanted, all I ever want to do is help people where I can.

Be Blessed Beloved

The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:

The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:

The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.

I brought this up in another post, but I feel it needs a thread of it's own (if you don't mind  )

To all of those that know of someone, or have themselves, cast out a demon, could you please share the experience here?

The more we all know about the enemy, the better!

john 14 = 12

he who belives in me the works that i do he wil do also

it is a subject not many want to talk about or share to others as it is perosnal and if you have not experianced it your self it can freak you out i rember in a group house our church was running for men i was only a young christian just out of jail i gave my heart to the lord in 1988 i was the leader and thank god most of the men wear out that night we wear called to pick up a guy who constantly ran back to his old ways he was drunk when we found him and we knew him very well i was asked to come into the room and pray with the elder that was guiding me irwin is a mighty man in god i have heard some freaky stuff on deliverance and even though it says fear not for i am with you man i was freaked and scared at the same time this guy became violent he bagan to curse us and the god we belived in yet before we started to pray we asked ron if he wanted this dealt with and he said yes i sat next to ron layed my hands on him and erwin stood next to him praying over him as we prayed this warmth came over me and i heard a voice say do not fear for i am with you so i just contunued to pray this guy got stronger and he got violent this went on for 2 hrs as the devil and the demons did not want to let go of ron he spat at us and his head turned around next to ron and turned back towards me i had never seen anything like this then i just placed my hands firmly on him and held him and all of a sudden the demon in him left and ron was peace full he was delverd and set free from his addicton he was even sobber

when it comes to dealing with deliverence you need to be strong and you need to cover your self as the demons are real and they wil do what ever they can to make you feel that they have left the person it is something you do not get into when you are a young christian yet god gives us gifts and if this is part of your calling he wil anoint you and you wil never be the same

i hope you are around mature people that can talk openly with you on this subject as there are christians that avoid this subject i have come across sevral my self there is a book called delivering the captives by alice smith you can buy this in your local christian book store i have this in my own home and its an awsem book and a good guide as well

i hope this helps from damo1

Shalom Luke,

Bless your heart. Listen, you did not do anything wrong. You gave the Word in a sincere attempt to help.

There are people here who are rabid about this "demon-busting" and psycho-babble nonsense about alter this and that and they get incensed when anyone proves them wrong. Just stand on the Scriptures and pray for them to have the eyes to see the truth from the Word that demons CANNOT indwell a true, born-again, Spirit-filled Christian, and that those who preach otherwise are the ones who are keeping these poor people in bondage and fear.

If deliverance was all that was needed, it would WORK.

Please pray for these people, they need the blessed assurance from Scripture and true peace, found only in Jesus.

Have you read "they shall expell demons" by Derek Prince..?? Also "blessings and curses..

It goes well with the Hammonds book..

Shalom,

Have y'all ever read the Scriptures where we have the assurance that if we are born-again, Spirit-filled Christians, demons cannot indwell us?

Men's opinions are just that, but the Scriptures are truth.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
