Heres a question...or two.

Have you ever had the time of your life and had to leave?

Have you ever had the love of your life and had to bail?

Have you ever loved life, you had to live for life?

my answer... my question

why must we have "the time of our lives"

why must we have the "love of our lives"

why cant we live for living ,and breathe to have life?

why must it be so complicated to live a few years on this existance?

In this case whats the point in life, emotion ?

Any thoughts people? what im actually askin is... what is the reason god put us here to feel??

would we rather be robots?

i have been askin therse questions round round round in my head and i cant come up with anything!

you hit it right. sometimes i would rather be a robot. life hurts!! and when we are commanded to love, love hurts even more! Can you honestly love your neighbor as yourself and not feel hurt? I don't think so. i thank God that life only lasts a few years. God tells us we are only a vapor and almost like grass. There are times in life when this fact is an encouragement. And yet we go on, turning our pain into empathy for others' pain and giving it out as love. No wonder even the angels think we are courageous.

Dear one fraught,

God came to give you life and to give it abundantly. Loving someone else as yourself should not cause you pain. It brings great joy. :th_praying:

Joh 10:10

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

I pray that I am misunderstanding you.

To Serve your neighbor or Love your neighbor as yourself, is to Love God. Loving God is not painful but brings great joy and Freedom. It is what we were Created for.

Mr 10:45

For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Let me give you the Key though that opens the door to Joy;

"Here I am to worship, Here I am to bow down, Here I am to say that Your my God. Your alltogether Lovely, alltogether Worthy, alltogether Wonderful to me."

Mt 15:27

And she said, True, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

The women that answered our Lords refusal with such Faith has the answer. :)

Be blessed dear one, be determined to be blessed.

Peace,

Dave

Perhaps you misunderstand me some. Let me clarify. When you think of abandoned children in India eating out of garbage cans and you care, do you not feel pain? When a 2 year old baby is put in the microwave and killed, do you not feel pain? You do if you care. When a man will hang, electrocute or stomp a dog to death do you not feel pain? Are there not times when you want to tear your clothes and wail? I can grieve with God while being thankful that He has a plan and He alone can end the injustice and the oppression.

ok i see what your sayin it is hard to love your neighbour as yourself because i beleive i love others more than i love myself! i think we all do at some stage...do u think it changes?

i see that your train of thought is on the same lines as myself... but my one question is now...

what was or is God trying to prove to the angels?

what is my purpose on this existance? ... :)

In regards to this: "what was or is God trying to prove to the angels?

what is my purpose on this existance? ... huh.gif" Your purpose is to become a king and a priest unto the Lord your God. Jesus shows us The Way. As far as the angels, maybe i didn't word that quite right; i don't know if he's proving something to them. I only know from the Bible (and i sure don't know everything) that they are very interested in what's going on with us. I also know that we will have a big part in reconciling all creation back to God. ' Romans 8:21that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. 23 And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body. AMEN!

Grace to you,

Perhaps you misunderstand me some. Let me clarify. When you think of abandoned children in India eating out of garbage cans and you care, do you not feel pain? When a 2 year old baby is put in the microwave and killed, do you not feel pain? You do if you care. When a man will hang, electrocute or stomp a dog to death do you not feel pain? Are there not times when you want to tear your clothes and wail? I can grieve with God while being thankful that He has a plan and He alone can end the injustice and the oppression.

I apologize it seemed that you were lamenting and tired of life. However the Lord has asked us to live. In light of those revelations of your grief stricken heart. What have you done about any of it?

I advocate for the poor.

Even more I understand this. That God hears the Cry of the poor. He is nigh unto the broken hearted, He binds up all their wounds.

Even more than that. Jesus stands and ADVOCATES on the behalf of all those whom can't stand up themselves. :emot-highfive: He asks us to do the same. We must therefore LIVE and not die declaring the Glory of God with our own mouths. :P

Be blessed dear one, be determined to be blessed.

Peace,

Dave

i would say the point of all those things is that through our experiences, we (hopefully) draw closer to God, understand better what His nature is, appreciate what Christ did on the cross even more, and develop a strong trust and faith in our Lord and Saviour to see us through the rollercoaster of life.

Words of Wisdom!

I'm not sure what type of "love" you two are referring to that you claim "hurts" so much?? If I had to "love" someone from God on down to the criminal who abused someone I loved as a family member, I would simply do it in the Name of God because I know in my heart that "that" is what HE would expect of me! Sure I get angry at all the sorrowful things that go on in our everyday walk with life. But it is important to understand God and be very, very close to HIM, as to Walk in HIS footsteps. We already know what HE wants of us and from us. All we have to do is resign ourselves to commit and release our spirits to HIM ! Then watch HIM work in our lives. HE has so much to offer those who refuse to doubt. Never let satan creep in and allow doubt that God wants only the best for each of us. Sure, none of us are worthy, but many of us can BE HIS, if we choose! Choose right, Choose God. If you have problems getting close to God right now.....BE PATIENT! HE is working in you as we speak! HE is only trying to build your spirit to a point where you can stand tall, be strong and fight the good fight IN HIS NAME!

Blessings

Yes, of course I agree, life does hurt at times. Ask God to heal those hurts so you can move on and continue to live and love and be all that God has called you to be. An older wiser supervisor of mine once told me; be like a duck, just let the water roll off your back. What she meant was when hard times come, just let them roll off your back and keep swimming. There was something about ducks having oil glands on their backsides that causes the water to roll off. It made a lot of sense to me as I saw problems just roll off my back. I love you and am praying for you.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
