Do you believe that believing in Evolution is a ticket to hell?

No. Rejecting Christ and dying in your sins is the only "ticket" to hell.

"The truth is, and I want everyone to read this, that I, being a prospective micro-biologist, seek naturalistic (not only supernatural) explanation of things: "God did it" is too general, though I believe it to be true. "Evolution" is a more specific explanation of the origin of species (note that I'm not saying the origin of life, I'm saying the origin of species), and it is feasible at that. Now I've got a metaphysical, general explanation of things: "God did it", and a physical, specific explanation of things: "species evolved over time"."

God did do it. It's very simple. He made man from the dust of the earth. We'll never be able to figure God out. And besides, do you WANT a God that you are able to figure out?

God gave creatures with great complexity obviously and gave them the ability to adapt.

How old are you? Were you educated in public school?

"1. I come to present the ideas of Evolution from a Christian perspective, so that perhaps Christians may examine the evidence more (seeing as they may think atheists are only trying to convert them).

2. I am trying to prevent conversion to atheism. Generally, once a Creationist finally understands the Evolution theory, and the truth of science, they convert to atheism. Most atheists who were once Christians testify that the Evolutionary theory is what got them to become atheists. Creationists try to make it appear that evolution is in direct conflict with the Bible, so as to give the person who understands evolution no option but to become atheist. I am here to prevent such an occurrence: to prove that once you discover the truth in Evolution, you need not convert; rather, you should see Genesis for what it actually is: metaphorical. Whether you want to accept this now or not, just keep it in mind once you discover that evolution is more than feasible, it's arguably a fact.

Edit: and always remember, the firm tree breaks in a storm, but the flexible tree survives (tell me if you want me to elaborate)."

Before you go off on your crusade, I strongly suggest you inform yourself on the theories of creationism, as embraced by many great modern scientists.

Edit: no one has answered my question clearly as yet. Do my evolutionist beliefs guarantee me a spot in hell?

A yes or no answer will suffice.

Wrong question, EC

Is Jesus your Saviour or not?

This is what determines your ultimate destiny, IMO :emot-highfive:

I'm a Creationist, My salvation is not based on me believing in creation, it's based on Jesus Christ alone, it's by his grace I am saved.

Yes You can still be an evolutionist, and be saved.

The Only Question In All Eternity..... Is Jesus your Saviour or not?

The Question Of Hell Or Jesus.

The Only Question In All Eternity..... Is Jesus your Saviour or not?

:24:

God Will Give You Wisdom If You But Ask.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
James 1:5

I Was Young Once A Long, Long Time Ago And I Know It Can Be Tough To Ask God And Then To Shut Up And Listen.

In Fact, Sometimes It Still Is And I Know Better!

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
1 John 2:15-17

:24:

Be Blessed Beloved

The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:

The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:

The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.

Numbers 6:24-27

Love, Joe

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
