Is it guilty not to tell about the Lord and his salvation to others? The Bible tells in different places to make known his salvation day by day.Lord Jesus also commanded to testify. They were made witnesses of Jesus. How the LORD will take it into account if you don't do this?

I don't know how Jesus will take it into account per say, but we do need to tell others about Jesus. Some people might be more willing to hear from us than from a preacher.

I'm feeling guilty now to tell my neighbor about Jesus (his wife and I think their kids go to church, but I don't know about him).

Just remember, all we're supposed to do is tell them the Gospel (if that includes your testimony, tell them that, too). We're not supposed to save them; that's the Holy Spirit's job.

As well as telling people about the Lord, I also think that it is vital to 'walk the walk' as we are the only visible aspect of being a Christian that many people see.

However, I do not know how the Lord will take this into account if we don't do it.

Bhakthi: If you don't mind me asking, where do you live? If it is dangerous for Christians there, then by all means be cautious about who you testify to, but you might secretly leave a gospel tract or two in public places, might you not?

Thanks for making that point, Afal. What good is our words if our lives don't reflect what we have to say?

There needs to be balance in walking the walk and telling others the Gospel. However, the most important thing to do is follow God's leading.

Update on my neighbor: I started towards his house, but I stopped and asked God if He wanted me to go. I felt like He said no, so I tested to see if it was God by wanting to hear whoever spoke to me confess that Jesus came in the flesh. He confessed that Jesus came in the flesh, so I went back to my house.

I think that initially our actions often speak much louder than any words.

Oh, that's right, Leonard. I didn't even think about that (I'm too focused on America. :)).

Bhakthi, if you live somewhere that's hostile to Christianity, ask God to give you wisdom regarding how to share the Gospel.

Leonard, I live in Dallas Texas,Thanks for asking.Mighty is the Lord in this area.Jesus is Lord in Dallas as the Father has given him all authority in heaven and on earth. He is the heir of the world as you know.I attract atleast 20 people a day to the website I started to spread the Gospel. But I had to quit my job to do this. There are lots of oportunities in this area.Told 500 juvelies in the prison about God's love and forgiveness.Thank God and give him all glory.

But fools' reproaches are everywhere. You know !

God bless you,

There is a time and place for everything. Guilt and condemnation is a favorite tool the enemy of our souls uses to keep us focused on ourselves and not resting and trusting in the Lord.

Here's some scriptural truths that will help you:

First, according to Rom. 1 and Psalm 19, the creation testifies as to God, so that no one is without excuse concerning His reality.

Second, John 6:44 tells us that it is the Father who draw someone to the Son and it is the Holy Spirit's job to convict of sin (John 16:7-11).

So what is our responsibility? As one brother already said in a previous post, it is to "walk the walk". We are commanded to shine as lights (Matt 5:16) and be ready to give an account to all who ask of the hope that is in you (I Pet 3:15). Notice that we give an answer to those who ask. And they will ask as they see the hope because we are shining. We will be shining if we are spending time in His Presence as Moses did when he came down from the mount. His face shone with God's Glory and he didn't even know it.

It's all about the Lord and His Glory, so rest in Him and be still in His Presence and wait for Him to act (Psalm 37:7 NLT).

Greg.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
