I'm still praying for somebody in Texas I don't even know named, "Rosie" who was bitten by a brown recluse spider and I don't even recall who posted that...but I still pray for her daily""""""""""

that was my sister in law, in Oklahoma, my wife posted that.....

Rosie is doing much better, she had two bites, and the damage is healing.....

most brown recluse bites tend to be more devistating.... and this one being improperly diagnosed for two weeks..... wow, she is coming thru fine and dandy...

you know that God heals all those that believe and that ask.....

just a reminder thou, God uses every thing for His Glory.... so some people will be healed fast, others slow, and some we think are not healed, but when they go home they are healed.....

Only God knows what is best for us, even when we think that God is not listening, He is hearing us and moving in His perfect Will for our lives.....

how long must i suffer? only God knows what He is using us for....

some of us are Healed instantly to show the World that God still heals....

some of us are used to show the Doctors who really is boss....

some of us are used to help the Doctors learn how to depend on God....

some of us are used to baffle the Doctors.....

some of us are used to show others that we keep our spirits up ( rejoice ) even when times are bad ( bad in our eyes, which may be good in the Lords eyes, for only God knows where He is taking us and how He is working with us to Glorify Him )

I was on my knees on the verge of a total breakdown....and thats when I asked Jesus to come into to my life and pull me out of the darkness that was enveloping me. And He did :il: All this on my living room floor.

John 10:9 I am the door. If anyone enters in by Me, he shall be saved and shall go in and out and find pasture.

Act 2:21 And it shall be that everyone who shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Act 16:30 And leading them outside, he said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved, and your household.

Rom 10:9 Because if you confess the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses unto salvation.

For the Scripture says, "Everyone believing on Him shall not be put to shame."

For there is no difference both of Jew and of Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call on Him. For everyone, "whoever shall call on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Eph 2:8 For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Don't be surprised to see me post this verse in several threads today, because though I've only been here a short while, I think it is something many people here need to meditate upon.

Jn 4:23 "But the time is coming-it has, in fact, come-when what you're called will not matter and where you go to worship will not matter. It's who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That's the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship."

We need to quit arguing semantics, quit proselytizing other Christians with our personally limited view of salvation, and get about the job of bringing Christ's true message to all the masses!

You got saved by asking Jesus to come into your life?  I'm not familiar with that "procedure".  Can you show me where to find that in the Bible?

OK Steve,

I haven't read everything you have written, but what I have read, you are always questioning others on what they say about their salvation experience, or how they talk to others. But I haven't read how you would go about it. So I have a hypothetical story for you.

You don't know me. We are seated on the same airplane flying cross country, so we have a few hours to converse. During our conversation, I reveal that I have come to a point in my life where I have nothing to live for. No family. I feel my friends are false, and my job is dead end and rocky at that. I am seriously considering ending it all, because after all, that would put an end to my misery, right?

What do you tell me, Steve. Give me hope. HOW do I get saved?
