then the lord said to me the prophets are prophecying lies in my name i have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them they are prophecying to you false visions divinations idolalatries and the delousions of their own minds

and from my other bible which i also read from which is the new spirit filled life bible

Jeremiah 14-14

i can also put this in to line up with Jeremiah 14-14 from 2 corinthians 1o paul and the false apostles

2 Corinthians 10

3 but i am afraid just as eve wad deceived by the serpants cunning your minds may some how be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to christ

4 for if some one comes to you and preaches a jesus other than the jesus we preached or if you receive a difrent spirit from the one you received or a diffrent gospel from the one you acepted you put up with it easy enough

13 for such men are false apostles deceitful workmen masquerading as apostles of christ

14 and no wonder satan him self masquerades as an angel of light

15 it is not supprising then his servants masqurade as servants of righteousness their and wil be what their actions deserve

so can i ask you why you just left a bible verse with out explaining the point you are trying to make

i know what you are saying when it comes to polaticans but one thing you need to remember is this jesus say to pray for al those in athority roles even though it is only meant for the body of christ

Hebrews new international open study bible

13 - 17 obey your leaders and submit to their athority they keep watch over you as men who must give an acount obey them so that their work wil be a joy and not a burden for that would be of no advantage to you

18 pray for us we are sure we have a clear conscience and desire to live honorably in every way

so even though this verse is meant for us christians i feel it is also to be towards those in the secular world as these men and women that serve not just in your country but in my country goverment i know they wil have no excuse when it comes to facing god on judgment day

see if a pastor to wear you are is speaking into your life and you are growing and you are benifiting from what is being spoken into your life and their is fruit you wil put your tythes into that church as a blessing for its ministry it provides

and in the same principals when it comes to tything redwing i feel it is the same for the partys that we elect into goverment if they are doing good for our country if their have been improvement in the words spoken and they have met every single promise then you support that party 100%

if that party has failed its words promised when they wear on the campaine trail then i would just be looking at some one else who wil stand by their word and not just go by lies

in my partners country in the philippines her goverment is very corupted my friend and look at what is happening in nigeria with robert maguabe and what he is doing to his people he has crippled thst country to its knees and i am glad i do not live in such a harsh country wear a goverment like the nigerian govermant have become nothing but fat pigs feeding on the donations the world brings into that country

and i hope for the peoples sake in Nigeria some thing is done wear an acting country steps in and sends its armed forces in to deal with robert maguabe and his army and the way he has been dictating to his people

so if you are talking about this and what i am picking up then i feel god is going to deal with curuppted polaticians when they face him on judgment day

all we have to do is pray and trust that honest people are ellected i do not like what is done in the ballot counting in my partners country and i have seen wear even ballot counting when it comes to votes put in by the public to the point wear this can even be twisted to wear a party is ellected all due to dirty people working behind clossed doors

this is from kjv of bible. i was not very clear on this subject. sorry. i was just trying to equate some politicans to false prophets. rw.

It also says that God did put lies in the prophets mouths because the people did not want to hear the truth. The latter is a greater danger...at least the in Jer. 14:14 there was not only discernment used but Jesus letting His People know these were lies. But who did God reveal this to? Another prophet? Lol

We can not throw out prophesy for fear..yet we need to be so close to Jesus, to know the voice of God when He speaks.

Read ezekiel 13:1-10 now that is a scary thought for all though teaching false prophecies.

It is a powerful statement to those who follow after their own spirit. But God being faithful to His promise and His people delivered them from the lies.

Ezekiel was in Babylonian captivity a long time trying to get the older rebellious people who had hardened their hearts against God and HIS prophets, He wanted them to repent of the thought that Egypt was going to help break the Babylonian yoke . I believe it was Judah He prophysied to.

Like every sin there is a price to pray and whether the lies come from a self proclaiming prophet, a pastor, a evangelist,a teacher, a lay person or any lie.. it is one of the seven hated sins of proverbs. Bearing false witness yet it does not mean to throw away prophesy. Liars will not enter heaven as it says in Revelations.

It is a awesome yet one of they lonliest positions Jesus I think can call one to...intercesstion being equal to or second.

Politicians are not prophets. Prophets are Religious folk. They can be called Prophets, Pastors, teachers, or leaders. They influence the flock with what they say.

False prophets lead the flock astray, for many do not have a connection with God and don't know the Scriptures, a very dangerous condition. They lead people into lies and half truths, and thus delusion. Consider the Laodicean church of Revelation 3:14-22. These people are in delusion, thinking that they are 'tight with God', when in fact Jesus is ready to 'Spew them out'. Of course, that couldn't apply to any today?

How did they get into that condition? They blindly followed there religious leaders into delusion. They were not noble Bereans who searched the Scriptures diligently for themselves.

Now a very sobering scripture is 2Thes where God gives the religious over to their delusions:

2th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

When those who have access to the truth, twist and spin it to meet their own desires, or are to lazy to search Scripture as for hid treasure, God sends them a delusion that they are right, when they are all wrong. This is exactly what is happening in the Lukewarm churches, the 'spewing out' is God giving them over to the delusion that they are 'rich and increased with Spiritual goods, knowledge and phoney righteousness.

The most frightening thing is that after so many warnings of false prophets and teachers, so many people just accept whatever they are told without question and deep investigation just because someone has a degree from some religious institution or Seminary as if they are immune from deception and error.
