That's a very good Scripture reference above for this study! I really think we need to start thinking literally on this topic. We need to think physically, what will be happening. It's coming into place right now in the world the things spoken of are forming. Just as there was an actual baby being born in Bethlehem, and a star over that place, there are going to be very distinct occasions for His 2nd Coming, and we can see things forming now, that all make sense

Isaiah 10:3 What will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far?

Thanks Suzanne for your response and you make a good point, however the scripture I referenced above applies to the discussion forums recommended to me following the links below, as it refers to rapture timing.

Well, you can begin in Zechariah 1. The first part of Zech. begins with the 4 Horns----if you recall there is similar language within Daniel and Rev. regarding the 4 Horns.

In Zech. 2 there is reference to the measuring, it is also referenced in Rev. 11:1 and 21:15.

We need to begin to see the similarities between the prophecies and Daniel and Rev. and then start to put them all together, to get a complete picture.

Arent these verses in Micah 4:11-13 refering more to God gathering the nations for the final battle, where God vindicates Israel?

Well, start at the beginning of Micah and read to 4. Could these things be beginning to take place right now?

Just provoking some thought here. (Instead of thinking only in terms of Israelites, think of believers/countries of believers in general), don't look at it only as regarding the Israelites, think of it in terms of believers as a whole.

In His Truth,

Suzanne

Amen Sis,

I saw this a little differently earlier but now see what you are saying. I will look at these other scripture referances and post again later this evening.

Man do I feel God is about to pour out His Spirit on the nations as well as these boards.

"Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoyce in the Lord,for He hath given you the former rain moderately, and He shall cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain and the latter in the first month" Joel 2:23

God is about to pour out His Spirit (The latter rain)

This is an awesome topic of study.

Open our eyes Lord, that we may behold the wonderful things written in Thy word.

In Jesus

How many nations do you think are viewed by the world as those of God? Those having a connection to God in some way?

In His Love,

Suzanne

I was afraid this question may have been overlooked? Please don't, as I want to take a look at the significance of the 2 nations in this day and time.

In His Love,

Suzanne

Please clarify the question

Hi again  :blink:

This is an interesting section of scripture. maybe a bit off topic but still.

10 "Now I will rise," says the LORD;

        "Now I will be exalted,

        Now I will lift Myself up.

        11You shall conceive chaff,

        You shall bring forth stubble;

        Your breath, as fire, shall devour you.

        12And the people shall be like the burnings of lime;

        Like thorns cut up they shall be burned in the fire.

        13Hear, you who are afar off, what I have done;

        And you who are near, acknowledge My might."

        14The sinners in Zion are afraid;

        Fearfulness has seized the hypocrites:

        "Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire?

        Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?"

        15He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly,

        He who despises the gain of oppressions,

        Who gestures with his hands, refusing bribes,

        Who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed,

        And shuts his eyes from seeing evil:

        16He will dwell on high;

        His place of defense will be the fortress of rocks;

        Bread will be given him,

        His water will be sure.

Maybe rapture "dwell on high"

All Praise The Ancient Of Days

I could be wrong, but it seems to me all of chapter 33 is dealing with the destruction of Assyria.

Any others opinions?

John

Amen Suzanne,

I was going to answer after I looked at the scriptures tonight, My thoughts that came to me were The USA and Israel. These are nations that are known to be founded on the pricipals of God.

I do know what mcm meant though, as in nations claiming to be nations of God, such as the nation of islam. or the the buddist etc.

But I assume you are refering to Israel and the USA, correct?

Yes they are, as they are the only 2 nations that were distinctly founded and originated from Godly desires. There's a reason I ask and want us to look at these 2 nations, as the prophets very distinctly speak of 2 nations and their standing among the rest of the world. There is no doubt at this time that this occurrence is happening now, as was prophesied.

In His Love,

Suzanne

Hi Suzanne,

I see some things here especially in Daniel 8:8-, which seems to refer to unrest in the middle east and the nation of Islam, or the muslim countries which ever termanolgy is politically correct, as does Zach 1:18-21.

unless Iam reading something wrong here.

I really want to study this more so I dont want to make a comment too fast, especially on the measuring, or surveying.

Lets hear of the two nations, man ther is a lot to study and so little time. I have some ideas but would like to see where you are going with this first.

God bless you sis, very interesting stuff! I am excited about this study.

Suzanne, unless I missed something here - quite likely :x: what two nations are you referring to?

In these latter days I see only two nations that were founded upon the Word of God: Israel and the United States. Unless I'm wrong, I can't see any others.

Do you see these two in the scriptures? If so, please advise where. Fascinating indeed.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
