There is to much at stake to be wrong. If your gonna say you've got a tape of Kenneth Copeland saying God is the biggest failure, then make that tape available to all of us to judge. I wanna know what he said before and after that statement. I also wanna know when and at what church he said it.

"I was shocked when I found out who the biggest failure in the Bible actually is....The biggest one in the whole bible is God....I mean, He lost His top-ranking, most anointed angel; the first man He ever created; the first woman He ever created; the whole earth and all the Fullness therein; a third of the angels, at least--that's a big loss, man. What they are teaching does not line up with the Bible, mjohn.

"Everybody you ask "Who's the biggest failure?" They say "Judas", somebody else will say "No, I believe it was Adam", well how about the devil. He's the most consistent failure. But he's not the biggest in terms of material failure and so forth. The biggest one in all the Bible is God. What, what, what - don't you turn that set off - you listen to what. I told you - now you sit still a minute. You know me well enough to know I wouldn't, I wouldn't tell something I can't prove from the Bible."(Kenneth Copeland, "Praise-a-thon" program - TBN (April 1988)

You can listen to him saying this from the link above.

And this:

"Jesus had to go through that same spiritual death in order to pay the price. Now it wasn't the physical death on the cross that paid the price for sin, because if it had of been any prophet of God that had died for the last couple of thousand years before that could have paid that price. It wasn't physical death anybody could do that." (Kenneth Copeland, "What Satan Saw on the Day of Pentecost" (Kenneth Copeland Ministries, audio tape #020022)

http://www.deceptioninthechurch.com/quotes.html#Hinn

"Poverty comes from Hell. Prosperity comes from Heaven. Adam had complete dominion over the earth and all it contains. A. Adam could fly like a bird. B. Adam could swim underwater and breathe like a fish. Adam went to the moon. Adam walked on water. Adam was a super being, He was the first superman that lived. Adam had dominion over the sun, moon & stars. Christians do not have Christ in their hearts. Sow a big seed, when you confess it, you are activating the supernatural forces of God." (Benny Hinn, Praise-a-thon (TBN), recorded November 1990)

Benny Hinn says that Christians confessing they are "a sinner saved by grace" only insult God with such "garbage" (The Toronto Blessing, Stephen Sizer, 1990)

http://www.deceptioninthechurch.com/quotes...l#Howard-Browne

"I'd rather be in a church where the devil and the flesh are manifesting than in a church where nothing is happening because people are too afraid to manifest anything... and if the devil manifests, don't worry about that, either. Rejoice, because at least something is happening." (Rodney Howard-Browne, The Coming Revival. 1991, p.6)

"You can't have revival without stirring up the flesh....When revival comes you will see manifestations of these three things in meetings: (1) the Holy Spirit; (2) the flesh, and (3) the devil. But, I'd rather be in a church where the devil and the flesh are manifesting than in a church where nothing is happening because people are too afraid to manifest anything...Don't worry about it. And if a devil manifests, don't worry about that, either. Rejoice, because at least something is happening!" (Bill Randles quoting Rodney Howard-Browne, op. cit., p.162.)

This audio clip is from a Kenneth Copeland revival with Rodney Howard-Browne. It was seen by a live stadium audience of 30,000 in attendance as well as millions of TV viewers. The woman started to laugh after she was "slain in the spirit" by laying of hands by Rodney Howard-Brown. At the end she breaks out into tongues. Does this sound like something from the Holy Spirit? Many Pentecostals believe that this is a manifestation of the Holy Spirit. Hear the audio clip!

Calamity,

We were commanded to love everyone, but we don't have to like their actions. We don't have to be around them. If they don't act decent to me then I am not going to be around them. If I have to be around them for some reason such as a family function then I hold my head high and ignore them only because they ignore me. If they talk to me, I talk to them.

I say, "hi" when they walk in the door and if they don't respond then it is ignore city toward them also. I would not spend my time trying to make them talk to me when it is obvious they want nothing to do with me. What did Jesus say? He said to "shake the dust off our feet" and "if they don't accept us then He won't accept them." If they act like that they are probably not a true Christian anyway or don't understand the meaning of God's love. Therefore, they don't want to hear or share the gospel with anyone.

I know people that think they have all the answers and ignore me all the time. I try not to let it bother me. The thing is that it does. I do love people and most of the time don't understand what I have done and why they are acting that way.

In your case just because you no longer go to the same church they do should not have a bearing on the way this person acts toward you. I believe you said this is why you think this person acts this way toward you.

Greetings in Christ our Lord and Savior:

My dear ones in Christ in reading the threads given I have been praying as to whether or not God could use me in an effort to help better understand and give some form of answer to why we cannot stay within a unity of Spirit in Christ.

There are several answers that God is trying to bring out to us, but to simplify it the greatest of all of these is love.

1. When Christ established the church it was given to us as a family of people designed to love one another as Christ has loved us. This design was to become a stronger bond in this world than any other bond known to man because our very survival depended on the trust and love of one to another. The church and the concept of the church has always been meant to be that of brother and sister; of family member to family member in Christ's Kingdom to one another.

2. Somewhere along the line we decided that we needed control of what was going on in Christ in worship, and in observation of Christ. The when and the How of our worship, and style of our worship became more important to us than the worship itself. When that happened there was a division between us. It was a natural division of opinions and tastes of worship, but never the less a division of style and tastes of comfort levels and needs. We also lost something else which was the first love that we were established upon this earth to have, and that was to love one another as Christ has loved us.

3. There is no excuse for it other than to say we have wronged one another in Christ and to ask for forgiveness one to another. We cannot hope to change now those differences within us in our desires to worship Christ, but we can see that it should not become a division of family from one another. We don't all have to live in the same house to be family members. but we do have to put first the worship of Christ our Lord, and we do have to find a way of accepting the differences in one another even if we don't always agree with those differences.

4. The Power of God's Spirit has promised us to show forth truth from error if we allow Him to. It is this discernment that we must use in determining what is truth , from what is deception, but that can only be done by taking these things ; no matter what they may be back to the foundations of our fatih in Christ to compare them to what was first taught to us. It is the same concept that Paul spoke of to the Corinthian church when he said" you have need of going back again to the foundations of your Faith and re-building, because you cannot bear the meat of the word" We today are in very much the same place as they were in if only we will allow the Spirit to teach us.

5. The true key then to our coming together isn't in resolving the issues between ourselves and others, but rather to concentrate wholey and completely upon those things of God. If we do that He will bring us all to the same place. There is so much that can be said about these things that it would take a tremendous amount of time and effort to see it through, but the truth is we must come again unto Christ, and sit at His feet to be taught the foundations of our faith before we can ever become a part of the Kingdom of God. Our true nature is that of desireing control over the things around us. It is a natural desire, a worldly desire, but the things that Christ has asked of us are not of this world, but are Spiritual in nature. These things are foriegn to us as mankind, and seem backward and unworkable in the physical mind.

6. In the end we must know that the Father is the only one who is perfected, and who has the right to control. Our job is to prepare our own lives to be used of Him to work His ministry through us, and not for us to work anything of Christ at all. It is we who become the tools used by the Father to do His will and work, by being a reflection of the Christ within us. That reflection first showed us that we are to seek after becomeing servants of one another and not masters. we are to seek to uplift the work of God being done in our world and not compete with it. How many do you know who have been called to a very simular work in Christ and yet never combine their efforts to make a truely inspired ministry, but who instead continue to compete with one another on some level to become better in their own work?

7. Our jobs are litterally to be tools that are ready for use when and where He needs us. We should be cleaned and oiled and shined up ready for what ever use He dictates within us for that days work. The work is not ours, but His work through us. We cringe at the prospect of not having control over that when we have worked so hard to prepare to do what we want to do, but it does not matter. Our lives when given to the complete control of God's work within us will shine forth as tools molded into the masters hand, and fitted for His control. they may well be tools that have many uses, and the more uses and the better fit we have in Christ's hand the more easily He can use us. But it isn't us who does the work, it is Him who does the work and makes the decisions.

8. Can we get along? what can we do to become more compatable? I believe the Holy Spirit speaks the truth when He asks us to consider going back again to our first love for the answers. I believe we can find those answers in giving back to Christ what He originally asked us for. We are perfected through the giving up of peices of who we are to be transformed into the likeness and the control of God within us. That transformation and control is not ours to share , but out of love for the Father ours to freely give as Christ gave to the Father. As I said this is only touching upon the tip of what Christ has intended for us, but perhaps it will cause us to think more clearly. May you richly bless God through your life in Him;

The Unworthy Servant

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
