hi new to all of this board stuff, but had to throw in my 2 cents worth.

no one knows when the Lord will return.

Paul and his buddies looked and studied hard to know the messiah, all to no avail. Jesus had to hit Paul over the head before Paul recognized Jesus.

I don't see where we will do any better. We look and look and think we see the end coming, the bottom line is, Jesus says to be ready, period. Keep your life right with him, love him and the rest will take care of its self.

worrying about who and when only distracts, the world is changing and changing fast toward a global government and all the things we associate with the end are very viable, one world government, no cash, christians accused of being hate teachers, etc.....

pre, post, mid tribers, amils, does it really make a difference in our love for Christ or how we live?

I've never understood the Evangelical obsession with Eschatology and predicting when the 'End Times" would be. Like was said before, not even Christ knew when the End would come, I think it's rather silly to try to predict when the End will come.

Matt 24:26-50 Jesus tell us about HIS return and the signs to look for and whom to ignore!

29. Immediately after thos horrible days end,

the sun will be darkened,

the moon will not give light,

the stars will fall from the sky,

and the powers of heaven will be shaken.

Another words, if you have to be told that the "end time" is upon us, then it's a pretty good clue that HE HAS NOT!

30. And then at last, the sign of the coming of the Son of Man will appear in the heavens, and there will be deep mourning among all the nations of the earth. And they will see the Son of Man arrive on the clouds of Heaven with power and great glory.
