seems that some one missed it.....hehehehe

this is one of the coldest winters i have seen in this area .... been here since dec 93 and we have had more days below freezing then i have seen before...... BBBBRRRRRRRRRRrrrrr .... and it isnt over yet.....

not much snow, for the second year, lots of ice, more ice then last year.... have had more calls for froze and or broken pipes this year then i have had since the first year i started plumbing, and i am not doing plumbing anymore..... havnot for about a year.

brrrrrrr

would rather have snow with it a bit warmer then having it this cold.....

my dog does not even like it out side, and she has a heavier coat and has become more plump then she has ever been. up until last august, she was still as skinny as can be, now she is plump.... she use to eat about a cup- two cups of food a day, now she wants several..... sounds like more cold to come...... several dogs i know have added extra plumpness and heavier coats this year then they ever have before...

Well, as I have heard so many time from the wacko's "Global warming also causes flashes of intense cold". Whatever. Anybody wonder why tempeture data from 1924 to 1935 is never used by the so-called experts when "proving" global warming?

Watched an interesting report last night on global warming.

A glacier in Peru is almost gone...but it's been melting for over 100 years.

A third of the north pole is also melted away and all the ice in greenland and iceland is disappearing....you would think with all that melting going on(forgot to mention the south pole), we'd see some rise in sea water.

I've no doubt the globe is warming, something is melting the ice. And I've no doubt that the "greenhouse gases" are more abundent as well, but does this spell catastrophy for the planet.

One part of the report that really bothered me was the editing that the government does to the scientific reports before it releases them to the general public. Are they trying to prevent panic??? Or, is there something to hide? Or, is this whole global warming thing just another political football...with Dems on one side and Reps on the other and the rest of the world caught in the middle. Of course the U.S. is the biggest contributer to the "greenhouse gas" effect.

The report was very well done and convincing, but still all the ice won't melt till the end of the century, we've heard this before....but now...they are saying that we are rapidly approaching the "tip point"...ie...point of no return.

So, I'm wondering, because we know at one time the north pole was a tropical area...how terrible would it be if it returned to that state. Would soil in other parts of the world suddenly be unable to produce crops?

We have had horrible storms in the past, before global warming...if we warm up....how much worse can they get. They said last night that the frequancy wouldn't nessecarily increase...a little bit different from earlier reports.

All in all, after listening and watching...it would seem the scientific community is changing their tactics...along with all the politicians, they (the news guy) hinted it was all Bushes fault...and big oil. The guy editing the reports is a lawyer..formerly a big oil exec, who since has left the white house and now works for Exxon.

And more good news...another branch at NASA is now reporting that the suns solar cycle is going to be 50% more active this year and will produce all sorts of bad things here on earth...so why worry about global warming?????

So, solar cycle C-24 + golbal warming + radical Islam = you decide

After the cold war, the media needed something to incite fear and boost ratings. First it was running out of fuel supplies, then vanishing species, disappearing ozone, pending earthquakes, killer bees, Y2K, now global warming, etc... I still got some flashlights and bottle water left over from Y2K if any one needs some supplies.

1)The actual term is "Global Climate Change", as the melting of the ice deposits will indeed lead to certain areas, such as Britain, becoming substantially colder.

2)the operative word is Global, meaning they measure the overall global temperature. So the OP's point is rather irrelevant.

i think they're trying to create panic, not prevent it.

global warming is part of the natural cycle. so is global cooling. this has all happened before, and if God tarries, will all happen again. there is nothing new under the sun.

but ain't it nice to know that even the climate is controlled by God?

jukia, can you please explain to me where all the Co2 came from during previous global warmings, when the earth's population was a mere fraction of what it is today?

listen. bottom line is this. global warming isn't going to be the end of our planet. scripture lays out quite plainly what to expect... and after the millenial kingdom is set up on earth, it'll be a whole new world without any global warming scares to worry about anyway.

chicken little, the sky isn't falling.

well here in the mojave desert, it's dipping below freezing when the sun goes down, that's highly unusual for this part of the country!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
