Wowsa,

Gotta post on this one! As you can see I'm a chatroom admin. I love it there! It helped me when I was in a time of depression, and meeting to just chat with other believers, pulled me out of a very bad time in my life. I thank God daily for that place!!!! The healing I experienced. I have learned from Bible Trivia and Bible studies, and have shared prayers and praises daily with my fellow brothers and sisters there, and formed long lasting friendships.

As for the boards, I do post here, but not often as you can also tell by my numbers. The reason? I just don't have time to do both. My daily pleasure computer time is limited to about 2-3 hours per day. I read the discussions, but don't want to post just frivilous thoughts, and to research and answer with depth, I'd need more time. By then, normally someone has already answered in a way I feel covers my own thoughts. No sense posting a 'ditto' just to boost my post numbers, right?

I'm just praising our father for the Worthy ministry all together. How blessed we are that no matter if it's the boards or the chatroom, that we can all come together as one body of CHrist and be ministered to and help others in their walks with the Lord, who is our focus. Our Rock, Saviour, Father, Redeemer, Friend.

Blessings to you all,

Donna

I chat in Worthy Chat a lot more than I do post on the boards, but I love them both. I started out in chat and then one of the chatters got me started on the board here. Like others have said - the boards are more in depth and slower.

I'm not very good at small talk

YOD, it's easy.

All you have to do is talk small!

Yeah, just say: Yep (Short for yes, lets everyone know yer payin' attention)

......................... Oh (a word that shows yer thinkin')

......................... IC (a word that makes you appear intelligent)

......................... No (a word that let's others know to buzz off or... a simple refusal.)

......................... Wow (a good pause word)

......................... LOL (a favorite when ya don't know what else to say)

......................... AFK (another favorite, good when ya don't wanna talk & ya just wanna watch)

:t2: I have more helps... if ya need some, give me a holler!

Well I split my time roughly 50/50 between the forum and chat. I agree if you want to get in depth you really are better off going to the boards. But if you want to witness for Jesus you will get far more opportunities in Chat because you will meet far more seekers in Chat then you will meet on the boards.

It is true that chat can be very boring especially when the chatters have nothing interesting to chat about lol but if you have a bit of patience then you will find someone will pop in with a question or an atheist will come along to test you out. then you can teach and witness and it makes up for the boredom. lol

I have developed very close relationships with chatters more so than with people on the boards. Then again board people seem to last longer on the boards then chatters last on chat. chat is just a more intense environment i suppose.

One positive thing i have got out of chat is my typing speed has increased lol your either quick or your dead in chat

All praise The Ancient of Days

I've been over to chat some, and do like threatening Seraph with pies and Liberace from time to time, but for the most part, things are more my speed here on the boards. I guess I'm just too much of an old fart (I can say that, can't I? ) to get into chat too much very often. I'm certainly not always looking for serious discussion at all times, but I seem to get my feel of fellowship over here between the fun stuff and then the meat of the word discussions.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
