I don't understand why assumptions have been made that I want to argue for I don't. I sincerely seek answers for many things done in this life that I can't quite understand. I think it is terrible that Christians participate in something that is too taboo to discuss like sensible adults.

I will drop the subject.

As anyone else noticed the schizophrenia that exist among Christians when their political views don't mesh with their spiritual convictions? Who will use the excuse, "You can't legislate morality"

I don't think it's either right or wrong to discuss politics or other issues. I think it can be a good and insightful conversation, but it depends on how maturely and respectfully people can discuss ideas, if they have opposing views.

I know from experience who I can have discussions with and cannot by experience. Certain people I know (a few nonBelievers come to mind) just like to be heard and just get louder and louder and won't consider a single thing you say.

I guess its discernment of how much influence you have and how rational the person you are talking to...huh?

Do we? I can say that I would like to believe them, but I really don't. That is why it is so hard to cast a vote, for we cast it for the one that "sounds" the best.

I still wish there was a law that would allow criminal charges to be filed if someone who is running for President ran on mostly lies and was elected, but failed to keep their word. If they try their best to get it pasted in both houses, and fail, they would not be held responsible, unless they attached a lot of garbage to their bill, knowing that nobody would allow it to pass. Another reason for changing the way they vote in both houses. They should vote for just on thing at a time, and not be allowed to attach anything to a bill. It would force then all to think about everything they do, and be held accountable for their decisions. As it stands now, who knows what they are voting for.

I wasn't speaking of just christians being gullible necessarily...

How many people believe that Al Gore would "fix" the environment if he were President? All he would do is enact measures to fill the pockets of those who got him elected. It's pretty much the same with every politician.

We all thought Bush was a christian but if you look at his currect position, I'd have to say he was owned by the Saudis just like (Bill) Clinton was owned by China

This particular election is more blurry than ever before. We could have McCain as President and Hillary as Vice-President (or vice-versa) and it wouldn't matter. The entire process is owned by globalists.

So they are going to act like there is a contest but it has already been decided that whatever candidate wins is going to play ball with the State Department....which means the EU, the UN, The Quartet.
