could the anti-christ, once having convinced the population that he is jesus, deceive them into entering a 'counterfeit' millennial kingdom? if so, could the beast's kingdom and jesus' co-exist simultaneously on the earth?

my imagination goes wild with this theory. somehow i can just picture the sinners in the kingdom of the beast "overcome" the deception and attempt to enter into the gates of the new jerusalem that "will never be closed".

Grace to you,

Humanoid,

Remember that satan is the ultimate liar and never had a good idea of his own. That's not what I say but what the Lord Himself has said. He simply copy's what God's already done and promised to do.

The reason that these New Age folks might like to believe that and even have heard of it in the first place is because it's Gods plan and it's openly been Prophesied and written about. As human beings we are pretty much hard wired for God anyway. It's not a far stretch for us to understand and even see the things of God and yet still not acknowledge Him. It's because were made in His image and for His Glory. We will give it no matter if were in rebellion or not. :emot-hug:

As for your question.

Can a Kingdom divided stand?

Peace,

Dave

im not implying they would be part of the same kingdom. my theory is that their two individual kingdoms could exist at the same time on the earth.

I think we all have our own theories in some areas. They can make for some interesting discussion as well. As long as we remember that they are just that: "Our own personal theories".

I will admit, it is something that I have never considered.

Hi Humanoid,

For a start we must remember that whilst Christ is reigning here on the earth for a thousand year period Satan himself is bound in chains.

Second the Lord himself said a house that is divided can not stand. I just wonder why you even allow Satan to even entertain this thought in your mind.

In a sense, the two kingdoms are in existence right now. They are the wheat and the tares. It is the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness.

But when Yeshua comes to rule, there will only be ONE kingdom and ONE King.

Hi Humanoid,

Revelation 20

The Thousand Years

1And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. 2He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.

It clearly states that the devil will be bound for the thousand years. The beast (anti-christ) was thrown in the Lake of Fire at the end of Chapter 19, so he is out of the picture.

Bottom-line, it is not Biblical that there will be a co-existing Millennial Kingdoms of the Messiah and another for the beast.

But it does make for interesting discussions.

Shalom,

Mazra

the scripture is the one doing the entertaining. i have just always found it fascinating because ive always thought that jesus will essentially eliminate all forms of sin from the world when he sets up his kingdom. however the scripture makes it clear that there will indeed be sinners outside of the new jerusalem. coupled with the beliefs these new agers have today makes it even more intriguing.

they always talk about a "good shepard" or christ-like figure who will lead them into this new age of peace and prosperity. of course, they never imply that jesus, the son of god is this person.

and id also like to say once more that this is of course a theory and not a fact. it indeed makes for an interesting discussion and thats what my intention was when i made this thread. any thought provoking insight from my fellow brothers is all i could ask for.

thanks for the responses guys,

-humanoid

these sinners outside of Jerusalem are not sinning because the devil is still in the picture, they are sinning because the flesh still rules the minds and hearts of man....the ultimate antichrist IS the flesh of man.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
