I already see the signs of the times and I believe the time of the end is nigh.

That sounds really radical for "me" to say that. I almost never comment on prophesy but despite my lack of learnedness, even I can see the bar has been raised to the level of Sodom and beyond.

We are truly, truly waiting for the time when there will be NO light...only darkness.

We're in the 11th hour now, friends. I see the clock ticking and when corrupt leaders take hold, doom is sure to follow.

We are already living on borrowed time; right now...the economy is the LEAST of my concerns...moral decay is the greatest.

We're there, folks...we're now actually discussing gay bishops and gay marriage without being in total "shock and awe"?

The war in Iraq pales in comparison to the trauma and hemoraging being done to our society by way of Satanic strongholds on government, schools, and even inside homes and churches.

People have no trouble whatsoever committing filthy behavior on national television and feel no shame. We have actually exceeded Sodom, IMO.

I don't think it can get too much worse. Bush might buy us four more years of life but eventually, someone will take office who won't have a Christian's interest in mind...but will be part of a giant machine - an underworld run by Satan under the heading of the New World Order (*i.e. United Nations).

We are fast approaching the time....we better brace ourselves. If Bush doesn't win, our days will be sorely numbered. Forget watching the kids grow up and go to college.

We'll be experiencing the real drama in Revelations...a days' wages for a loaf of bread. Check out the 4 horseman in Revelations.

Our time is very, very near...I pray we vote wisely.

I have been worried about this coming election for over a year now. I just can't see anyone else in office the next four years, except Bush. He's a Christian and he's a Godly man and I feel safe with him as President. He's been under vicious attack by the left ever since he's been in office.

Sometimes I wake up and wish that what's going on in the world was just a dream, cause it wasn't that long ago that things weren't so terrible. Things just got worse and took a nose-dive after 9/11.

It brings tears to my eyes thinking our time is short, because of the souls that aren't saved. The end times scare me somewhat, because we don't know what all we're going to have to go through.

I just know I'm going to keep praying hard for President Bush and this coming election.

The secular media has been taken over by the World systems, and are paid to report what they are told to.

His Son, the media is very biased and you're right. It's really sad that the real truth is not reported on many issues. This would be a different world to many people if they knew what was really going on out there. Media Bias, it just makes me sick!

President Bush is doing an awesome Job!! He's a great Commander and Chief!! I'll serve under him anyday!!

The world trade center would probably be standing today if Bill clinton did his job in 1993 when the world trade center was first bombed. He never did anything when the USS Cole was bombed either.

At least Bush is not afraid and is standing up to the terrorist.

I boil the entire situation down to one trending factor in the world. That is, the attempt of world societies to discredit, dismember, and disassemble the Bible, which is the word of God.

The social issues plaguing our society are merely the results of the world's attack on the word of God. I write "merely" not because I consider these issues to be light by any means, but because these are symptoms of a much more serious issue that believers need to be aware of.

The enemy can attack from front. And it seems to be that the enemy is attacking us on the "front" issues. But actually, because of the enemy's tireless efforts of attacking the word of God, we are being misled to believe that these are the "real problems." Not so, howver. The real problem is the attack on the word of God.

Consider the situation today carefully. In the past two to four years we have seen an increasing number of scientific, archeological, and historical attempts to discredit the truth of the Bible. We have seen the attack on the paradigms of the Biblical family, the proper Biblical relationships, and the proper Biblical morality. We have also seen archeologists and historians discrediting the Bible's factual history of God's people.

The foundation of the Christian faith is Jesus Christ, there is none other. Yet the Bible stands as the ground by which the Christian faith is propagated. Many believers are being driven from the Bible. Many new believers are being misled to believe the lies of the enemy. How else could long-standing Christian denoms fall to the sin of homosexuality, and allowing homsexual behavior in the church? Simple: The Bible has become irrelavent rather than essential to their propagation. We must therefore confess that although some of them may have Christ, none of them have the Bible.

Today true Bible believing fundamentalists (I even hate to use such a word, since fundamentalism has even become corrupted to a certain degree) are viewed as ignorant, foolish for being so absolute, bigoted, and intollerant. But they are not being viewed as such by the world in general alone. They are also being labeled as such by God's own people!

I have seen some of the statistics that show that a great majority of Christians have not read the bible, or do not read the Bible regularly. This cannot be due to a lack of interest, or lack of understanding that deters believers from the reading the Bible. It has to be due in large part to the increasing number of attacks on the Bible's veracity.

Saints, we need to bodly proclaim the Bible's truth to the world! This is the only way to combat the present evil situation. The sociological issues of the day are the symptoms of a much greater and much more serious issue - the attack on the word of God!

Grace to you,

~G

Excellent post Beau! Excellent.

I heard the stats the other day on how many American Christians had actually read the bible and it was like 11% ! I had no idea that the American Christian was biblically illiterate. No wonder the great falling away can occur! They have little to hold onto. Also, when asked if they held a biblical worldview, most did not.

I agree with everyone! I am pro-Bush. I cannot see why a person who says they are a Christian wouldn't be. But I also voted for Religious Morals. It is very important to me that even if someone makes a wrong decision, that they will have had a holy intention. I see the President's discipline, and his willingness to sacrifice himself and his time to make sure that the American Public are safe. He has done a great job. And my brohter and many friends are in the armed forces, and I tell you that they are also very proud to serve under him and understand the reason they are there. Salute and go! As do I!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
