ID goes to sleep

God created the heavens and the Earth. And every living thing on it. He did this in 6 days; rested on the 7th. Literally. Bible says it, which makes it truth. Literally. Ask God, he'll tell ya. Sounds like ID to me.

If this is true, shouldn't that be what we observe when we look at the evidence? In your opinion, does the evidence agree with an old or young universe? What observable feature of the universe demonstrates the its young age?

Everything that is presented as fact, i.e. evolution, that casts doubt on the truth of the Bible is false and a lie. It is a device that Satan uses to trick people into believing that God is not real and that the Bible is fiction. As for evidence, I see no proof as to what scientists theorize and hypothecate. Up until just recently, they believed that T-rex was a carnivor, not they aren't sure. Maybe he was a vegitarian. Nothing is proven, except that they existed.

I have no quarrel with those who choose evolutions over Creation. It's their loss not mine. I tell the Truth. If God wants you to believe, you will. If not....? You are in my prayers.

I don't need to prove to you that the Bible is factual, you must prove to me that it is not true. I do rely on the Bible as my guide to the creation of everything. Even if science claims that it can prove (which they can't) that the "big bang" or evolution theories are correct. It's called faith. There is more proof that the Bible is true and that Christ was here than not. This is it for me because I don't care about this topic. God bless.

edit: I heard the vege thing on ABC News, I think. Not important, though, except to further the idea that science is just "guessing" about time. ABC News

I did answer your question. The Bible has been proven to be correct by 10,000 years of truth. Show me anything else which has such a track record. Belief is through faith. Faith is believing something sight unseen, belief that is not based on proof. My proof is how Christ has changed my life. What Christ, and the Holy Spirit, has given me - rest, hope peace, and trust in His Word. I am evidence of the proof of scripture.

Can you expound upon the "10,000 years of truth" comment? What do you mean by this?

And just because your life changed is not a necessary condition to posit the existence of God. If there were no God, you could still change your life. I know many atheists who have rest, hope, and peace. These are not things that religion has a monopoly on.

It seems the foundations of ID are being chipped away faster and faster now. Creationists should start devising a new pseudo-scientific theory soon.

I'm not sure I understand the rtricle, but a lack of ID would make sense, if we have a unified consciousness when we are asleep. Ever have a problem that you can't solve? What do others advise you to do? Sleep on it,right? Might that be because our consciousness' are pooled and we are receiving help beyond our own selves? Isn't it amazing that God created this? It makes the internet look kind of feeble,doesn't it? And its been there for us all along. Shiloh62
