The following piece was written with tears streaming down my face and my heart broke in many pieces. Please dont be mean, if you leave a comment. I posted this, because thier is probably others in the church who can relate:

My life for the last several years has been lonely, dull and filled with misery, pain and heart breaks. I am over 100 lbs over weight, have a hearing disability and a learning disability with is tied into my ADHD. I have fantasized about death many times in the last several years. I simply feel like giving up. I have been married 3 x

Precious sister, I am so sorry that you are having such hardship. You are not alone. Several sweet and saved souls were put here by God to hear you this day. Do not despair, God is watching over you. I will pray for you and I know God has brought you to Worthy for a reason.

Oh, reasons for living: 1) your daughter 2) living for our precious Savior 3) God working through you to bring light and revelation to your husband; and several more that I can't think of right now.

If you need someone to talk to you can pm me if you want.

I agree with my friend wholeheartedly, keep your faith, stand in your walk. Our Father is Heaven has many good things in store for us yet. Jeremiah 29:11: For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. :)

I do not know where you are in Carolina or the reason for your move. When I go there most of the people and a few carolinaians, we hang. Find people who are from somwhere else. Tourist areas! I love the House of Blues on Sundays ...they usually have a wonderful gospel, ( old time) band And there are a number of believers there.

You need to network. I have yet to run into a mean person.

Unfortunately people are prejudice against obesity and some outsiders. Ask God to direct your path.

Suicidal ideation sometimes is a comfort but not the way Jesus wants us to live.

Wake up and say Good morning to the Lord as if it really is a new day. You cannot have a good time with all that luggage behind you or looking to yesterday.

If Jesus wants to give you a new chapter it will not help if your foot is still in the old one.

Reliance on people and company to fill you is not that great of a deal,

Do you love yourself

Do you like yourself Are you comfortable with yourself

Can you work...maybe at your daughters school...even volunteer work.

Are you takeing you meds.

When our eyes are dimmed by yesterdayd and the what ifs...and I do not like it here....Nothing will seem right. I will keep you in prayer and remember your daughter. God did not give you a gift so you can abandon it...Are are to teach her. Use any good, godly Coping skills you have....and thank-God you are not in the same grade as your daughter...schooling is brutal today... :noidea:

You sound so sad. It's hard to move to a new place and then try to fit in. Not so long ago my family and I moved from Oregon to Missouri. We knew nobody here. Luckily we began attending church right away and started making friends. I miss Oregon so much, but we have found so many friends here that it would be hard to leave now. Do you attend church? That is a good place to begin making friends. Do you have any hobbies? Sometimes you can get into a quilting guild or something where you will meet people with your same interests. Now don't take this wrong, but you also might join Weight Watchers. I know how hard it is to loose weight. I need to loose 70 pounds myself.

You need to talk to your husband. Could he drive a truck for local deliveries? Does he understand how you feel? Do you need to listen to his side? If you don't talk about this it will grow and grow.

Now, suicide is never an answer. There was a time in my life that I considered suicide. I just could not see any point to my living. I felt I was just taking up space and everyone hated me and I hated myself. Well, had I succeeded in taking my life I would have missed out on some wonderful blessings. We can only see yesterday and today. But God sees tomorrow. Trust him. Have you accept Christ as Your Lord and Saviour? This time of year we celebrate His resurrection. But think about what He sacrificed. First, He left Heaven to enter His Creation. I've never been to Heaven, but I know that it is wonderful beyond words (remember when Jesus prayed "...Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven". Wouldn't it be wonderful to be where God's will is always done?). But Jesus loved us - He loved you - and He came knowing that He would be beaten, mocked, spit upon, stripped, and hung on a cross. He did it because your life is worth it. And what about your daughter? She needs her mom.

Keep talking to us here. Maybe we can help you to see yourself in a better light. You are a daughter of the King!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
